If you haven't added arrestors what are you thinking???? simple cheap way to prevent flash back and possible burn in the lines. one of those things you just do "to make sure". these are a little longer then the ones I have used in the past, but work just as well. they do swivel ( just a little tight) and the price was right for a little piece of mind.

The big tank has not gone boom, which I will consider a good sign. On the other hand, I have not attempted to cause a flash to test them either. Seem to be built well and easy to install. Although there seems no good way to test them, I am confident enough in them that I purchased a second pair.

Ran our torch with out these for ever but due to switching to a rose bud tip for thick steel bending vs cutting and all the flash back stories that accompany rosebuds we added these as a safety measure and happy we did no known flash back so far but safety first with Acy/oxy

The one valve flair was bent! Afraid to use it could leak and cause a fire.

Can't really speak to quality - they're sealed. They've been on Oxy set for a month now - haven't had any blow back so they are not really tested. Fit well / no leaks. They appear to be real flashback arrestors and not just check valves. Two sets for 30 bucks - I'll call that 5

quality is on the low side leery to use as it is a safety item and hate to learn it doesn't work well
