I got this for the books and they function well enough, so this is fine in that sense. However the baskets are very poorly made, the wires are bent and don’t click into the vertical bar in a satisfying way so they’re unstable; I would never put anything of value or anything fragile in there, as half the time I bump into the shelf gently from below it comes completely detached on one side. Not to mention if I close the door even mildly fast the content of the basket tends to fall to the floor (and we’re talking like 8 feet since the metal bars at the top are quite short). Honestly I might even take the baskets off because the bent metal and uneven positioning make it look pretty bad.

Good product however the baskets and the hooks at the bottom only rest inside a channel. There is nothing holding or clipping them into place so if you hit it wrong or fling the door open something is more than likely going to come crashing down. However, nothing zip ties can’t handle! Worth my purchase

The two long pieces connect with small screws so it is not totally stable in the center where they connect. They stay attached but kind of sway when first hanging things on it. However, it looks nice. Otherwise sturdy. Nice way to neatly store things in the open.
