I am not going to go into much details here since if you are looking into purchasing an ozone generater you already know why you feel its neccessary. I had one about four years ago and this ozone machine is up there with the old one in terms of quality. The unique thing here is the controls are on the side and ozone is emirred from the front…or is it ozone is from the side and controls are on the front…..confusing, bit it is unique. Price is about right and this thing puts out a ton of ozone. If using on a room to room basis, make sure the door is closed. I generally sit it on a 5 gal. bucket in front of my return air duct and set it for three hours and leave home for four hours. Ozone will sanitize your ducts, and take care if odors in home, leaving a clorox smell that fills entire house. BE SURE YOU ARE NOT IN THE HOUSE if sanitizing your central air system, because Ozone is dangerous to breath in. Fortunately, it dissipates very quickly and you can come back in home after an hour. Love it and priced right,

This is a powerful ozone generator, great for whole house sanitization (up to 6000 sq ft). As most homes are designed to promote air circulation, the ozone will make its way through the whole house (even if you shut the doors). So the recommendation is to use this when you are planning on being out of the house for a while. It's got a simple spring timer allowing you to adjust the run time from 10 to 180 minutes. We had suffered some water damage from a broken sewer pipe, and after we had cleaned up and dehumidified the area, the smell didn't seem to go away. After setting this up in the morning, we ran this through it's full 180 minute cycle. When we got home at the end of the day, the smells were completely gone. It was like walking into a brand new home.

I got this mainly because we have three cats and keep litter boxes in a guest bathroom. Over time the smell just seems to permeate everything in the room, even if you remove the boxes and let it air-out for a couple days. We also have a few friends who still smoke. I don't mind them smoking in my office (especially if the weather's bad outside), but I also don't care to have the smell hanging around, having quit smoking myself 11 years ago.Anyway, THIS THING SEEMS TO REALLY WORK! There's a reason hotels use these to get rid of unwanted odors in hotel rooms. I set it up in the guest bathroom and let it run for 20 minutes, which was far too much. Next time I'll do it 10 minutes, tops. After waiting AT LEAST 40 minutes, you then need to let the area air out as much as possible.Beware the "ozone smell" is NOT good for you, and you should minimize exposure to humans and pets! If you're like me, you'll find out on your own, as this gave me a near-instant headache. This is all explained in the owner's manual, which is actually pretty well written and doesn't have a lotta "fluff". If you follow the directions there, everything should be fine. This seems really solid, too! Like, there's some plastic (I'm sure one of the internal fans is just a PC case fan). But it's mostly metal. It feels nice. Solid. I also like that it uses an easily-replaceable standard PC power cord... but I wish it came with a carrying case or had a compartment to store the cord. It also has at least one spare fuse but (again) nowhere to store it.

I have a son who keeps taking off his wet diapers and hiding them behind his bed. The room has adopted the old pee diaper smell which is quite strong. After cleaning the room and wiping down, still couldn't get rid of it.Ran this machine for 30 minutes in his room with the door closed. The smell produced by the machine is quite powerful itself and eventually made it halfway downstairs, even with the door shut. I then left his window wide open for several hours and still can't get rid of that "ozone smell".It's definitely not as bad as the pee smell, but all I did was trade a bad smell for a different slightly less bad smell. This was my first time using an ozone machine so not sure if this was a standard experience or not.The machine itself seems to be very well made. I'm just not sure I'm happy with the results.

We just purchased a car from an online car store. Everything about the car was great except it had a very slight cigarette smoke odor when the A/C was activated. After researching online, I decided the safest and most thorough way to deal with that was to use an ozone generator.I searched Amazon and found the NAMOWELL Ozone Generator. It appeared to have the desired features, so I ordered it. The item arrived quickly and was safely packaged, so there was no damage. One of my favorite things about the generator is that it came with a well-written instruction guide that not only described the generator's operation and safety precautions but also had some very helpful information about how ozone works to eliminate odors.Regarding the "cigarette smoke odor" problem, the unit knocked it out. First, I prepped the car -- I put the car out in the sunlight, removed mats, etc., from the car, opened all compartments, pulled out and clipped all the seat belts, positioned the sun visors down, opened the sunroof's shade about halfway back. Next, I ran the generator for 20 minutes with the car's A/C system recirculating, and then another 30 minutes with the A/C turned off. I then turned off the generator and allowed the ozone to "work" in the car for about an hour. Finally, I opened all the doors and allowed the car to air out.For my situation, this generator worked as expected, and in my opinion, it is a great value at the current price point.
