This little thing works! I have been waiting for an affordable ozone machine to become available, and this one fit the bill! When I received it, it's such a small unit, that I didn't have much hope for it working, but it worked better than anything I've previously tried! We have a guest house tenant, who is in a studio apartment that is attached to our home. He is a housekeeper, and has a large dog. He also cooks cheaply....things like boiling hotdogs, or boiling chicken to mix in with his dog's food, or heating a can of hash or sour kraut. The apartment is separated only by a typical interior door with no seal, so the odors of his cleaning rags that are vinegar soaked, along with the dog and cooking odors were infiltrating our home and were nauseating at times. We have tried everything...odor absorbing charcoal HVAC filters, an air purifier, the buckets of odor absorbing gel, plug-in fresheners, etc., etc., and nothing has worked. He's a great tenant, very clean & quiet and pays rent on time every month, but the odors were actually making me think of telling him that he had to move, which I don't want to do because he is also my housekeeper and has become a friend. His 550 sf studio apartment and our 550 sf den area in our home use the same HVAC system, so the smells just circulated throughout those two areas, to the point that I had to keep the door closed to the den. We don't use the room as a den. I use it for my business storage and office space, but couldn't stand to be in there for long because of the permanent smell. I put this little machine in the room and ran it for 90 minutes with the door closed and did not enter for another 3 hours after use (it says to wait 40 minutes before entering, as ozone is not great for humans, nor pets). I opened the door and the lingering smell that had permeated everything in that space was completely gone. It just smelled like fresh, clean air. I have no idea how long the effect will last, but I actually have that door now opened to the rest of my home. If the odors start up again, I can simply run it for an hour and know that they will disappear. I feel like I've gained a huge chunk of my home back! The unit appears to be well made, is very simple to use and works great. It's small enough that it's very unobtrusive in a space, so I can just leave it plugged in and ready to use at any time. I absolutely recommend this machine, as it is one of the best values I have ever gotten. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

This ozone generator does what it says it does: gets rid of smells.Being new to this type of device, I did not know what to expect. Originally got it to get rid of urine smells, as I have a senior dog that often pees on herself, albeit on pee pads on her bed, and even with cleaning it every day the urine smells sometimes linger and we are not keen of it. However, seeing the instructions on not to use while people are around and to air the area for hours after the treatment, I figured I’d try somewhere else.My test subject was one of my older cars, a 2002 Expedition I have own for over 20 years and had sat on the driveway not driven for about 3 years, rusting away with roof holes, water seeping in and mold growing inside. Recently I decided to bring her back to glory days, and after spending a few thousand dollars on repairs, body work and new coat of paint, the only thing I had not been able to remedy was a musty/mildew smell from the interior, along with cigarette smell (I was a smoker in my younger years) and other smells from working in construction back in the days and carrying all types of tools and materials. So I followed the instructions and placed the ozone generator inside the vehicle for 30 minutes, coupled with an additional 10 minute treatment with the a/c full on blast as per advice I found online. Right after the treatment, while I opened the doors to air, I noticed a very strong chlorine-like smell, hard to describe but smelled like hospital air mixed with chemicals. I let the car air out for like two hours and this morning when I went to take my kid to school in it (I enjoy driving the Expedition I fixed myself more than driving my 2025 Suburban!) I noticed the strong musty odors were gone, and left in its place was a lighter fresh smell. Thinking it might be a placebo, I asked my wife to smell the car, as she has always complained of the “old smell” in the car, and she confirmed it felt “lighter” inside. I really think this machine destroyed particles trapped in the cloth liner and other crevices within the car.I also did a 60 minute treatment in the garage with similar results, so definitely I am now a believer of these type of treatments. I still would like to do the treatment for the area where our dog sleeps to see if it really takes care of the ammonia smell, but will need to wait for a time when we all go out, including the dog, so I can let the machine do its thing.Definitely worth it if you need to get rid of unpleasant odors. Not sure how large of an area this treats, but as far as my tests, it did great in the car and did also a good job in my 2-car garage, so should be able to handle bedrooms and medium sized home areas without an issue.
