First and foremost ozone is not safe and you need to be vacated from the area when you use this. It’s not something you can just sit and forget and let it do its thing. Make sure all of the animals are clear of the area at the time of use. Once you follow those rules, it does work fantastically.

Great device, it definitely cleared up some of the odors near my cat boxes. The scent can be strong, the "ozone" that they refer to can give off a pool like smell, kind of like chlorine but can be mild or strong depending on your sensitivity. It does come with different operation modes to allow for how long it "ozones" the air which you can adjust if running it for too long makes the smell intolerable. The device is a good size and quiet for what its doing in my opinion. My absolute biggest upset about this device which has caused them to loose a star... is the length of the power cord... its absolutely way to small. Its like 2 ft long... and its not a USB-C style or anything that the average person would have an abundance of or could get a 3/6/9/12 ft cord kind of style because for mainly people with like cat boxes they are not always near an outlet... If this cord was at least 6 ft I believe it would be an excellent 5 star product.

Despite being scooped at least once a day, the litter box all 3 of my cats currently favor sometimes has an ammonia/urine smell that occasionally wafts out of the guest bedroom the box is in & can be smelled from the hall. Ick. So when this gadget arrived, I immediately set it up a few feet from said litterbox & programmed it to run for a few minutes every hour. I haven't smelled an ammonia blast emanate from the guest room since, which I assume is thanks to the ozone generator. My nose is occasionally assaulted by the stink of chlorine when walking past now, but it's relatively faint & better than the ammonia prior to setting this up.I do have to mention that the device is larger than I expected it to be, despite seeing the dimensions prior to ordering, and it does have to be close to an outlet (within a foot or so), none of which is ideal for either of the other 2 litter box set ups in my current home. Swapping out the USB-C cable that comes with it for a longer one could be a workaround IF there's wall space. If I could figure out a way to make it work in my sunken living room, I'd order another. Aside from those limitations & the chlorine scent, it's really useful for pet odors & I'll likely buy at least one more after we move (assuming the wall space will allow for them!).

I'm using this deodorizer over the cat litter disposal pail and I'm genuinely surprised to say it works. The pail used to stink just sitting there empty, so imagine when it was full - but this little gadget works and we just smell fresh air. It's very similar to the single-pin ozone maker in our $500 standing HEPA filter, and you can definitely smell the "fresh rain".After the ozone is over, the unit makes negative ions, which settle smelly and larger particles from the air. As an Engineer, my research into this shows why they've marketed it toward cat litter boxes, kitchens, smoking areas, etc. The negative ions enrobe the smell and dispel them from the air, while larger particles are enrobed and also fall out of the air.I know there's probably some debate regarding the amount of ozone this can create, but it's *EXTREMELY* minimal (less than my aforementioned Honeywell Air Genius 5+ which runs 24/7/365 for 3 years now in my hallway) - and even less because, at maximum, it only runs for 30 minutes before taking a break for 12 hours. All in all, I'd highly recommend this little deodorizer for small spaces because it works great. For the current price of $39, I'd say it's worth it (as long as it lasts a year). Should mine die before a year, I'll come back and update this review, along with possibly adjusting the stars.Until then, I'd highly recommend it. 5 stars for exceeding my expectations and using real science (not just faking it). 🙂

I was skeptical, my husband found this and ordered it. We travel and leave our cat for several days at a time, so this is a test. However, the last two times we have walked in the house after being gone we have been pleasantly surprised, no strong cat box odor!
.* Paradox *.

First off, I like this unit. It includes everything you need to power it and even hang it if you want to. It produces ozone fairly quietly, there’s a small almost buzz, it’s still quiet but that shouldn’t matter because you shouldn’t be in the room when this is running. Please do your due diligence and read about ozone generators. They work great at eliminating odors but you shouldn’t be in the room when they are in use and even after they time out/turn off, some time is needed for the ozone levels to dissipate. Now, all that said, again they’re great for disinfection and odor removal. This one has two modes, one where it’ll produce ozone in short bursts with a longer break where it’ll isn’t. The other timed mode will run it for a while and then turn it off. I prefer this one. I’ll let it run for say 30 minutes when I know I will not be around and then it turns off and gives the room time to ‘air out’. So overall, this is a great unit in my opinion, just know how to properly use it and keep yourself safe.
