I got a splinter doing drumstick exercises, so decided to buy these for protection.Have only used twice so far -- but grip is good & they look "cool" too.However, as a small senior woman with weak hands, I could not put these on my drumsticks more than 1/2 inch. My husband had to lubricate the sticks and grips with WD40 and work them on. So far, so good.

Got three pairs the black ones are on my maple sticks and the blue ones are on my heavier, hickory sticks love the way the grips feel in my hands and they’re easy to slide on, but not too loose. Takes a little bit of effort, but they are definitely A big help and the blue and the black both look awesome with my pink drum set lol

So far I cannot get the wraps onto the drum stick. I think I use 2b and they only go on part way. I have not tried using a lubricate yet, but I shouldn't have to. I am not sure they are even going to work for me. Maybe other drummers will have more success, but I won't buy any more.

I use Vic Firth Extreme 5AN sticks. Tried different grip tapes with trial and error, which was very tedious. I found these and the first set works great, stays on, and relatively easily removable. So, I thought spares are good in case of dropping sticks, and I got 2 more sets. But these extras are *super* hard to put on. Of the 4 sticks to put the grips on, a 1st worked easily-ish enough, and a 2nd *eventually* worked with a huge amount of frustrated struggling. I haven’t even bothered trying the other 2 yet, hoping there’s an easier way to get them to go on.

they went on the sticks very easily. The reason I got them is to prevent the sticks from slipping in my hand when playing and it worked perfectly. bought two more sets for other sticks.

The grips are great, but they fit overly tight on 5A, impossible to put on. However I figured how to put them on easily. You have to lubricate inside the grips with WD-40, and also put WD-40 on the sticks. Then the sticks will slide in easily. After that you can wash them with hot water and a soap.My verdict - this is good product, very useful, comfortable, and well made.
