I have used a few dozen fittings in the past few months, all of the efield, and all of them went on easy and sealed well. Copper to plastic, plastic to plastic, all sorts of combos and all went well. Any time I need a fitting now, I order a larger package than I need as I seem to have become the peraon everyone is calling for help now. Good fittings at a good price!

The plastic handle broke on our previous shut off valve. This one was also a compression fitting on the 1/2" end. Took a couple of minutes to remove and this new push to fit valve went right on in 2 seconds! So simple anyone could do this job! I'm keeping the second (was a pack of 2) for when I need to replace the next valve in the house. Can't wait actually!

I replaced my full turn sweated angle stop valve with this Efield 1/4 turn push in angle stop valve. So easy to install. Most of the installation is removing the old valve and preparing the copper pipe for the push in valve. I followed all the advice of cleaning and deburring the copper pipe. Pushed the new valve up to the stop and connected the faucet to the valve. Turned on the water and put all my tools and stash under the vanity away. Finished. No leaks. The best deal on Amazon….two top quality push in 1/4 turn angle stop valves and the removal tool for $14. Look no further for push in stop valves Efield are the ones to buy.

These feel good and solid. My first experience installing push fittings. EFIELD Push Fit 1/4 Turn Angle Stop Valve Water Shut Off 1/2 Push x 3/8 Inch Compression.I did deburr and clean the copper pipes first. I then marked the copper at 1 inch so that I would have an idea how far the fitting was on the pipe. I found that these valves did very nearly reach the one inch mark so that is how far you should push them in. I pushed and twisted at the same time and it was pretty clear when the fitting was all the way seated. No lubricant was needed on the copper.One pipe kept sinking down into the hole in the cabinet when I tried to push the fitting down onto it. I secured the pipe by clamping a small vise grip plier to it with MINIMAL pressure so as not to deform the copper pipe.The 1/4 turn is nice and feels solid. I believe that these will last and function for a long time. I was wary of push fit valves but they do actually seem to work. I never trust anything though so I did put a leak detector under the new valves. Should spare me from much water damage if any defects, unlikely, or my own mistakes, always possible. lol
