I have a 40 hp outboard on my 16ft fishing boat. Motor rocked alot when trailering. This reduced that 90%.

If you have a big outboard (100hp+), the 15" strap sent with it is too short. I have a 200 hp motor and had to find a 31" strap. Also in order to get the right adjustment, I had to drill two holes. They should have been predrilled. This support is only for small motors. I have a 200 HP motor on my boat and the support split in half. The fact that it does not work for larger motors should have been mentioned in the description.

Had to shorten it up with a sawzall cut a few inches out of each piece to remove about 7”Remember to measure it all as you need the cross bolts and buffers to work.Now perfect for for 60hp Merc

Bought feb 7 didnt use till almost end of April and it failed by end of May. Used on a tiller handle 40hp tohatsu with a hydraulic jack

It easy to install, but the rubber that the lower unit rests in is too flimsy, and let’s the motor swivel back and forth.
