Awesome unit, could use better instructions

This is a really high quality unit. I run a print shop and many of the specialty papers I have require there own little space and this works perfect! I do wish the inductions were a bit clearer though. I ended up having the base turned around the first time, so when you get to a certain point you realize it’s not gunna work, then I had to unassemble and reassemble that bit to make it work, but figured it out and ended with a nicely put together organizer. It’s very heavy duty and can easily hold 1 ream of paper per shelf / cubby. This isn’t the cheapest unit, but I promise you it will outlast them all!

Perfect!

This is a well made mail/paper organizer. It is HUGE. I put it up next to my cabinets for comparison. Assembly was not exactly easy because the directions are AWFUL. I had to take it apart twice and redo it strictly because the directions were not clear enough. Once it’s put together, it’s very sturdy. I’d like to suggest the company work in better directions so assembly is a bit easier. Otherwise, great product.

Declutter your desk!

I recently downsized our circ desk, and lost a bit of storage in the process. Thankfully, this document organizer came to the rescue, and helped me declutter my space. As you can see, the organizer is quite large, and can corral quite a few documents, neatly sorting them into categories, to streamline your workflow. It was pretty easy to put together, and a lot more sturdy than the plastic and wire doc trays I've used in the past. Really happy with this one!

Great for my shipping station

This is the perfect size for some of my smaller envelopes 10” or less wide for my at home shipping station. Makes it look so much nicer now that it is organized. It was easy to put together if you put the holes that are on the sides of A and B on the same side that the little node on the top of the C piece.

We bought this metal unit to replace a flimsy cardboard version at church that had outlived its usefulness. This one is sturdy, and fits our church mail room perfectly..

I had one of the cardboard school divider shelves and it collapsed on me- I knew I needed a stronger one. This fit the bill, not too expensive, but made with metal and wood. It went together pretty easy.Just watch that you have the bottom shelf in the right direction. the letters and holes should face upto get the cross shelves in. It comes with a hex key so you aren't hunting for tools.

This unit was impossible to assemble. The glides for the shelves are welded incorrectly preventing the back panels from fitting. As a result, the screw holes are off by 1/8". Bad quality control. See picture.

- I thought this was going to be a flop, but a pretty good product- a couple of things to note which the installation process won't tell you is when installing the sides and middle pieces, you need to have them oriented in the direction in which you need to install the final back piece.. I had to rotate the side pieces when I got to the back side because my orient was the opposite.- another thing is make sure you use the PROPER Long or Short screws per the direction.. Apparently I don't know how to read and messed up in the beginning!- If you're able to get it cheaper, then you're winning!!

Arrived without any damages and even though I read the instructions I still put it together wrong. Easy enough to dismantle and reassemble. Sturdy and strong enough to hold the sign letters that I purchased it for.

Setup was easy (20 mins, solo). Even without instructions I think most people could build this thing. Seems quite sturdy compared to the cardboard one it is replacing. I'm not sure I would sit on it, but it seems pretty strong. The manufacturer provided two allen keys (only one is required) plus a few extra screws.....just in case. I didn't need any of the extras but it's a nice touch since often screws can become lost or damaged (especially if you aren't following the instructions). My only gripe is that it would be nice to have little tabs or slots to which labels could be affixed. I'll use pieces of tape and that will do the job. There was no visible damage coming out of the box but I got those little styrofoam fragments all over the place. They used block styrofoam, not peanuts, but it still seemed to shed pieces everywhere during unboxing. Prepare to vacuum after building this thing.

This review is for the PAG Adjustable Sorter Organizer (4x3).I ordered this because I have a massive project in front of me to organize bills and paperwork for someone's estate. I wanted something sturdy and durable (not cardboard) that could become a fixture in my office and be used for years to come.Note that the only thing "adjustable" about this sorter is that you can remove the shelves to make a bigger area. This piece is very heavy, but the materials are high-quality. It is quite large, so make sure you have a stable place to put it. It is professional-looking and relatively sturdy - it better be after what it took to get it assembled, which is a whole other story. The instructions are definitely not as clear as they could be.It's important to note that part C (x2) sits offset on one edge of part 1 so that part D (the wire mesh back side) can be screwed into place. This means that you must assemble parts A and B with their holes on the same side as part C that is offset (purple circles on pictures 2 and 5), but this is not indicated on the instructions. I got all the way to step 3 before I realized this and I had to go back and unscrew parts A + B and switch them so everything would line up.After I did that, when trying to place the screws into part D to hold it in place, one of the 4 screws would not go in at all. I noticed that the wire mesh was soldered crooked on that end of part D (picture 3 is from the outside of the sorter, picture 4 is from the inside) - I am unsure if this defect was the reason the 4th screw would not go in. After trying everything I knew how to get the screw to go into place to hold this important part securely, I resorted to using a hammer to pound the screw in and then tightened it into place. Also, part C (x2) has a little nubby on the top (green stars on picture 5). The instructions show the nubbies on step 2 (if you squint REALLY hard), but the image doesn't indicate which side is the front and which is the back. It doesn't definitively show which side the nubbies go on until step 4. I don't think this part matters as much, as part C can go either way and part 2 will still assemble correctly. This is just another example of how the instructions could be more clear.I have bought entire full-size bookshelves lower than this price point (currently $79.99) that were better quality and less frustrating and time-consuming to assemble, even though they had many more parts. I might pay about half the price of what this sorter is listed for, if that.

This is a review for the 27 compartment PAG adjustable mail sorter. This is exactly what I was looking for to organize the variety of paper I have. As a crafter, I have tons of different colored cardstock. Each compartment holds about a ream of paper so I can fit just about all of the types I have. The instructions are pretty terrible and this was difficult to put together. It took me over an hour to get to assembled from start to finish. This isn’t the first paper organizer I’ve had so I know how poorly crafted ones can fall apart. I have no worries with this one because the metal material is good and I expect it will hold up for a long time. I’ve been using this for almost two months now and each shelf is holding the weight of the paper without any noticeable issues.Overall, I am very pleased with this. Giving this four stars because of how tough it was to put together. Otherwise, it is well made and is a good value.I also got the 12 Compartment organizer by this same company and it is just as good as the first one. So easy to organize all of my craft paper now.

I’m a school/office supply aficionado. When I unboxed this organizer, I was immediately shocked at how huge and heavy-duty it was. I expected a standard-sized letter holder, like the one I had in my kindergarten class or the ones I see in the copy and print section of office supply stores. There were some dicey moments where the screws didn’t want to turn with the allen wrench. Then the screws wouldn’t connect perfectly with the other side, and I would have to start over.I literally got about 50% of the way through assembly, and I had to put the organizer aside to complete it another day.It would get five stars for storage size and quality, but I’m taking a star off for assembly.4 Stars. Recommended.
