Could read the files using my M1 iPad and iPhone 15 pro max. USB charged in a short time. Will have my Midi Captain shortly to complete testing for my use cases. Seems like a great value considering the price of the 2.4 ghtz midi competitors.

I bought this because it looked like a slightly cheaper alternative to CME WIDI Master. The WIDI Master is powered by the MIDI port. Once it's plugged in, you can forget it even exists. Every time you turn on the device, the WIDI Master is on, forever and ever, amen.Paint Audio's Wireless MIDI Adapter looks almost identical, but it *requires charging*. It has an on/off switch. That's a profound difference in usability.

worked great connecting a keystep midi keyboard to midi instrument. didn't work for ipad following the instructions and with laptop it would work intermittently. i would need to reconnect cable if i changed a software instrument for example because it would lose signal. for live use with hardware instruments it's great...but use wireless bluetooth midi for software and ipad instruments for stability.update: second attempt with ipad and it worked. i just switched the adapters around and for some reason the signal was being passed from midi keyboard controller to software instrument in host app, AUM.
