I hate struggling to open 5-gallon buckets. This tool makes it easy, both for plastic lids and metal lids with bend-over tabs. It also works great on regular gallon, quart, and pint paint cans, with a few ways to pry open the lids.As a bonus it can also be used as a bottle opener and box wrench to remove/tighten 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, and 11/16ā unobstructed nuts.This is staying in my painting kit and Iām getting a second one to put in my shed with my pool chemicals.

I have been looking for a tool like this for a long time. Tile mortar buckets are always a pain to open when you first buy them. You almost have to risk tearing up your finger tips to open those types of buckets without this tool. This makes it easy to slowly pop the lids off. The tool is one solid metal piece that is the right thickness to do the job.
