The tools must have to replace garage door torsion spring
- Safety goggles (there is a tremendous amount of torque in a torsion spring and your safety should not be taken lightly when changing garage door torsion springs)
- A vice grip
- A wrench (to remove 7/16 “ bolts and 9/16 “ bolts)
- A pair of round winding bars （parcel included)
How to install or replace the right garage spring torsion
Choose the correspond type torsion ?
Please refer to your garage door opener type and the weight and width of your garage door, consult the professional, or replace the same size as the previous one. The WRONG size will lead to the machine to not open the door, or close the door at the wrong speed.
Replace one or both springs ?
When one of the 2 garage door springs breaks, we recommend replacing both, beacause the spring has the same wear rate and lifespan, and the other will soon break.
- Note: Wire Size measurement: the spring must be tightly compressed, with no gaps. Please measure 10 and 20 colis as a double check.

Take your time. Be careful and you can change your springs. The complete kit has it all. You Tube has step by step process. You get the tools for the job and a pair of gloves

I dont know of the quality of this product as I actually was unable to use them due to the sizing issue. Poor sizing description.
