This stand is very solid, I gig out 5 or times a month and my previous stand of 4 years was just ok from the start and starting to get worse the past year. These stands are rock solid and there's no movement after mounting a electro voice 15 pa speakerKnows and pin seem to be good qaulity ad well

I've been a professional musician for 54 years The Hola speaker stands are heavy duty compared to the Rockville stands. But Hola is almost twice the price! So, you do get what you pay for fellow musicians. If you do multiple set-ups for shows each week then definitely buy the Hola. However I do wish the Hola stands were a little less expensive. Thank you Hola for the Heavy Duty choice! p.s. both companies' stands were put together well. The heavier weight of the metal thickness and the more HD size and sturdiness and larger base diameter were noticable in the Hola stands.

I have been a DJ for over 25 years. I can’t tell you how many speaker stands I went through. I got cheap ones I got expensive ones top of the line somewhere in the middle. They all broke every single one. But these stands are actually are pretty damn solid. I wouldn’t think that you can get something like this off of Amazon. I always bought my speaker stands from the DJ store. No more! This product so far is tough, it’s reliable and when you’re moving the polls, they roll like butter. Ty!!! Def recommend!

First off, I never buy anything without reading reviews, and this was no exception. But, since the stands were made by Hola! Music, I just knew they would be great quality as I had already bought one of their fine tripod mic stands, as well as a tablet holder. As soon as I lifted the box they came in, I knew they were different as they were heavier. I weighed and compared them to my previous stands at 5.6 pounds and these weighed 8.4 pounds, even though they were slightly smaller. Also, the hardware seems a little heavier as well. As you can see in the pictures they use a cam system to lock the adjustments, unlike other companies that use a split plastic sleeve. They also have washers under the knobs as well. To test them, I extended the tubes to the second to last hole and mounted my Yamaha DXR12 speaker on it (42 pounds). It was very sturdy and I believe these will last a long time! So if you were considering a cheaper stand I would suggest you save yourself some trouble and just get these from a great company.

The stands more than met my expectations! They are very robust and have no problems holding my Mackie Thump 15s. They aren't the heaviest of speakers, but I'm sure these could easily hold speakers much heavier without a problem! The build quality is top notch! If you're looking for a quality stand without breaking the bank, look no further! You won't be disappointed as everything works just like it should and so far seems to be very durable! The metal used is much thicker than what other stands in this price range use. These feel solid and sturdy with just the right amount of heft without needing to be a body builder to lug them around. My only regret is not getting carrying bags just to make it a little more convenient. That's my own fault and no fault of the stands.Stop reading and just buy these! They really are great!

I ordered a pair of these stands for my JBL PRX812 speakers which are fairly heavy. These stands lock into place very easily and don't move. The adjustment knob tightens really well with out having to crank on it too hard. I also noticed that the receiving end of the adjustment knob is fitted with a stainless steel nut as opposed to plastic or junk metal. I'm thinking this will be much less likely to strip out after being used frequently as this seems to happen with some of the other stands out there. I'm a full time solo musician and do about 250 shows a year so we'll see how they hold up over time. As for now, they seem really well built and my JBLs are staying put. I'm really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this product.
