I’m very pleased with this music stand. It is very lightweight, my main reason for purchasing it to replace my previous stand, and it’s definitely sturdy enough for my iPad and other items I often place on my stand. It is available in a variety of colors: I prefer black for its use during performances. The only minor drawback is that I don’t see a way to rotate the top portion to modify the alignment with the feet. It’s probably designed that way for optimal balance.

I am a guitar player and play regularly for various functions. I used haul around a heavy, all metal music stand. This stand is light and folds down to about 15 inch long. It has several adjustable sections that allow you put it at the height that suits you. It won’t hold a heavy notebook binder of music but it is suitable for a couple pages or a light weight binder.

I was really surprised by how solid this extremely lightweight stand feels. It is so easy to pick up and move, even with music already on it. No, I wouldn't put a full big ring binder on it, but then I wouldn't put that on any other folding music stand either.The one downside is that none of the sections will rotate, so the feet have to go where they need to be for the desk to be facing in the required direction. Normally I expect to be able to put the feet of a stand in between other stuff and then rotate the desk to be facing me. Not with this one. There are strengthening grooves along all the sections so even removing the locating screw in the top collar doesn't allow it to swivel.BTW the pink stand really is pink and not the purple it looks in the photos. But it is an attractive purpleish pink, not a peachy or baby pink.

It seems pretty well made and durable. As I said, its been hauled around by an 11 year old for a few months now and has held up. It seems a little more light weight than some others we had in the family so easier to knock down if you run into it, swing a trumpet case into it, throw a cat at it, etc. But no so much that it knocks over with normal use. It will stay up if you just bump it, slam your music on it, etc. I don't thinknany of the different stands we had would stay up if you threw a cat at them... The blue color is not quite the same as picture. Sort of a matte cornflower blue, and is consistant on all peices. Very happy with the height. We have a string bean that will not stop growing. The cat is ok.

This is the perfect music stand at the right price. Easy to store away when folded. Opens to a generous dice and includes supports above and page holders below. Adjusts to the perfect height sitting or standing. Very stable. I love it!

My BF and I both got one of these because we play together. This thing is awesome. Folds up easily, fits in the case perfectly, lightweight, holds the music up, and plenty of room for a pencil to mark your music. Very solid yet lightweight construction. And pretty :)
