the zippers on one of them broke only after a week of us. And I don't mean came off the track, I mean actually broke.

Needed to add a little bit of weight to my backplate wing, these are nice because the zipper top allows for easy insertion and removal even while wearing the rig, and between the buckle and zipper should be quick and easy enough to ditch if needed, they are small and well made, I have 3lbs in each, they could probably hold 5lbs, if not pouch weights then solid belt style would fit.

These weight pockets are very good in concept, but a couple of improvements would make them perfect.The size is perfect for warm water diving (probably for most people). They hold up to a 5-lb weight in each pocket, a 6-lb probably fits, but would be a bit sung. They have a single strap of 2-inch webbing on the back for installing to 2-inch harness webbing. I would prefer 2 straps of 1-1/2 webbing separate by an inch in order to use a single tri-glide as a keeper. Otherwise you may need 2 tri-glides to lock the pocket in place on your webbing.The top loading zipper (YKK) is of good quality and should last a long time. This allows simple installation/removal of the weights. My only gripe is that a left and right pocket should be provided with each pair, with zippers going in opposite directions. This would allow them to use the same motion on opposite sides of the harness to open and close, i.e. slide the zipper from back to front to open, and back to close. As is, one will open to the back and the other will close to the back.The quick release for making these ditchable are good, but again, could be improved. The QR side release buckles are mounted on 1-1/2 inch webbing. They are not overly stiff to pinch to release so should be effective to use if needed to ditch weights. I would have rather seen a pull to release type buckle though as used on the somewhat similar D*** R*** pockets. I researched replacing the QR buckles with a pull release type, but the only ones I can find commercially available are for 1-inch webbing. So for now I will live with the lack of that feature, but if I come across a 1-1/2-inch pull to release QR buckle, I will be replacing the buckles.So that is my initial impression. I'll be diving with them on an upcoming trip and will update with any additional observations or durability concerns after they have actually been put to use.

I am using it as side pockets on my backplate setup and works great. They are small but roomy to accept a 5-6lb lead. I will get another pair to use it as trim pockets. Highly recommended

They work great. They're not as good quality as my Hollis accessory packs, but they weren't nearly as expensive either. I like that they have the top load zipper. They drop weight easily when wanted otherwise they stay clasped the way they're supposed to. I have no complaints.
