I really liked that this set of Cord End Locks had a black metal color in it. I will use the other colors but black is sometimes difficult to find. I like cord end locks with a style like this because they are simple, unassuming and blend into the background of a piece. To make sure it will lock the cord in well I make a big hole polymer clay bead that fits in the thin bottom side of this cord lock yet is too big to come out the side with the thicker rim on it. I find this works really well in securing the cord in place. The metal alloy these are made of feels very sturdy. I certainly can’t crush them in with my fingers as they are quite strong. They are lightweight. I think the price of this set is very affordable and I will get a lot of use out of them.

There's no mechanism or system t ok it. You are supposed to tie a knot to keep it in place? So lame! Should not even be a product offered on the market. Does not qualify as an aglet.

I purchased for Morse code crafts but was a little to large and heavy. But they are sturdy and love the colors.
