I found it annoying dealing with my handlebars always being turned all the way to the side when I attached my bikes to my Park Tool rack by the seat post. This has been an elegantly simple solution to hold the handlebars in line, making it easier to go through the gears and brake with the bike on the rack.

Perfecto.

I hesitated for a while before purchasing this. I was just going to bend up one of my own. Glad I just spent a few bucks and bought this one instead! It is simple but works very well, even on odd "modern" non-traditional style frames. It has a good rubber/plastic coating to protect paint. After getting it and using it... I realize that it is a very good value for the price. Looks professional in you bike room/shop also.

Aiuta molto ogni volta che si devono fare dei lavori di manutenzione alla bici, soprattutto nella zona anteriore. Qualità sempre alta e prezzo di conseguenza.

This handlebar holder works great and as advertised. However, be sure that it'll work with your bike. It will not work for a woman's bike, a step through, or any other bike lacking a top tube. My ebike has a top tube, but due to it's design, the top tube is too low relative to the handlebars, and this tool cannot be used.

Park Tool is the go-to brand for pro-sumer and bicycle shop wrenches the world over. The handlebar holder leverages a flexible design to defray the energy of the handlebars when they attempt to move left or right. Ample rubber covers the entire surface nearly eliminating the possibility of marring the bicycle you are working on our transporting. The Velcro belt makes confident installation and removal unassailably idiot proof. There's room for innovation on this accessory, but embellishment yields cost increases and this is nominally inexpensive for a tool, so I respect the manufacturers decision to remand its scope to single usage.

Does exactly as advertised, this is a problem solver that is well built, functions well. I use them to keep the hanging bikes from interfering in the garage, and one at my workbench for maintenance.

I ordered this HBH-2 item in 2011 to use with my 2010 Specialized Secteur. Worked as intended, fit over top tube and handlebars fine. In November, 2018 I upgraded to a 2018 Roubaix, which has a wider top tube. When read in Amazon description that model had been 'updated' to fit more recent bikes, placed my order. Unfortunately, the 2019 version is EXACTLY the same as the 2011 version, which means does not fit well over top tube as it should -- so I returned it. It's just a bent piece of metal rod covered in plastic, so I guess I will take a hammer to the one I have and widen the "V" gap a little, then patch the plastic with duct tape if needed.

I ordered this item 30 years late, given that it works as advertised, like nearly all Park Tool items. I have been working on my own bikes using an older Park Tool stand for quite a while now, and always just dealt with the flopping around front end. I always saw this in the catalogs, but passed on it, thinking it a wasteful purchase. On a whim, I decided to use some card proceeds to finally purchase one. Glad I finally did, as it certainly makes bike maintenance a lot less aggravating. Not particularly difficult to use, so I found the simple instructions amusing (yes, a male that reads the manuals!). It appears made in the USA, which I'm glad to see Park Tools still does (although not all their tools from what I read). Recommended.

I looked at this device in the Amazon catalog for several months wondering if I really needed it. It's so easy to accumulate "really neat tools" that somehow are never used. Usually I just run a strip of Velcro around the main tube and the front wheel and that keeps the handle bars out of my way when working on the bike. Well, that works well enough but what if you've removed the front wheel? Ooops! So, in a rash moment I added this Park handle bar holder to an order for an item I **really** needed. When the handle bar holder arrived I remember saying to myself, "Self, you're never going to use this." WRONG! A couple of weeks ago I had the bike up on the workstand and thought I'd see just how it worked. Okay, it worked pretty well. It was easy to put in place. I liked the solid plastic covering on the device which would protect my bike's paint and metal surfaces. I worked on the bike. I removed the front wheel. The handle bars did not flop around! Pretty cool! Now, whenever I put the bike on the repair stand I just automatically Velcro this handlebar holder in place--takes 10 seconds--and the handle bars stay where they should stay. It turns out this is one "really neat tool" that has become indispensable to me. Who would have thought such a simple device could be so useful?

I use this bar holder to stabilize my bike when I lean it against the wall or when I have the bike up on a work stand and it does its job very well. I have two of these now because the first worked so well. The second one is handy when I'm working on more than one bike at a time.I don't normally use the velcro because that usually comes in handy when the bike is being transported and I don't use this tool for that but I should point that the current strap seems much improved over the one that came with my first holder. This tool is flexible so that it will accommodate accessories mounted on the handlebars and it will handle any size top tube. The tool is simple to use, saves a lot of frustration and is inexpensive. Its a fundamental tool for bike maintenance.
