I could have given the device 5 stars, but in the end I didn't use it. My pop up came with a solar panel on the roof and inside roof lighting. Therefore wiring existed inside the roof and at the roof corner. Because of this a wiring "tunnel" was present in the canvas to hide and protect the wiring running from the roof into the electrical center in the body of the pop up. I didn't like the idea of having to plug and unplug the rooftop AC unit AND plug and unplug it into the electrical center hidden within a cabinet. So I used surface mounted wiring guides attached to the inside of the camper's roof from the AC unit's wiring to the point where the rooftop lighting and solar panel wiring went through the canvas "tunnel." I pushed the additional AC wiring through the same "tunnel" to the same electrical center in the pop up. I attached the appropriate plug, plugged the AC unit into the socket present. Now, the AC unit is permanently wired and I don't have to plug or unplug anything. The wiring goes up and down right long with the roof and solar wiring present all along! So, I never used or needed the 20A RV inlet plug.

Delivery was great but unfortunately, the plug itself was broken and screws were snapped and we’re keeping the plug itself to the base. Initiated a return. Will update once I have a replacement unit.I received a replacement unit and it works really well. Dry fit and keeps the plug nice and secure.Easy to install.

Very easy to install. Included screws were functional. Easy plug in and tighten design. Flexible cap to seal the plug when not in use, seems like it will function well.

Worked perfect for adding a plug for a second ac unit I installed in my RV. Glad it was mountable by the three screws it came with due to the thickness of the RV wall was too thick for the nut on the back to work. Also if you cut the hole slightly under size you can screw the unit into what you are mounting it to for a very secure fit.

It is perfect for my 1997 Jeep Wrangler, which I converted from gas to ELECTRIC.This is my EV plug-in port, which connects to my Jeep's charger.I like the plug's protective cover, which seals my 144V battery system from rain/moisture.This is mounted in the Jeep's old gas cover, since the Jeep runs on 100% electricity."I don't need no stink'n gas!"Electric Jeep? Yes. Visit EVAlbum.com to see more converted EVs

The quality and build of the product is great. I like the fit and finish. The only problem, and it is not a problem with the product itself, is that you cannot find a 20 amp power cord other than one out there designed for generators, and it cost $80-100. Then you have to make sure you have a shore power that has the 20 amp receptacle. I would strongly suggest step up to the 30 amp design or lower your load to get down to 15 amp. 20 amp is simply unheard of in the RV world!
