Needed the LS7 chain tensioner with the recessed bolts or the dry sump pump won’t fit other model tensioners the bolts stick out too far. Genuine GM parts great price fast shipping.

Be aware that what is pictured is not what you get. The title is clear that it's just a damper and not the timing set. I bought it on a whim hoping to get a timing set. Nothing lost on the gamble other than the time to drop it off at UPS.

good quality chain and sprocket but there isn't a timing mark on the crank sprocket. alignment is straight forward and can be done using the old sprocket as a reference.

Got this to replace the wrong ones sent to me by other parts suppliers.Can confirm it fits in behind the dry sump oil pump.

Nice upgrade to OE. design but according to GM it is a downgrade for this timing dampner even though it is the best LS design before a thin piece of plastic for the "upgrade" in 2007-2008 for the LS4 that cracks off after only 100,000 of original mileage of any LS4 VIN C.
