These light work perfectly. I mounted them on the center- rear of my boat trailer as as marker/ clearance lights. They are water proof so no worries when launching or retrieving the boat.

Just a heads up: These are inexpensive LEDS so they are polarity sensitive and will not work if you inadvertently reverse the polarity on hookup. Worthwhile checking before final crimps!

Perfect fit bright light

I recently installed the PAARTSam LED Triple Tail Light to replace the old rotted out Bargman incandescent assembly. It was a perfect replacement, screw for screw and well built.So I jumped to buy this one to replace my side markers. Not as high as the Bargman it replaced. Different hole placement. After mounting the base, getting the LED part to snap in was hard. Then I pulled a little too hard on one of the tiny wires, and broke it. Removing the LED part from the base was even harder than inserting it, and I almost broke the base. After fixing the wire, and reassembling, I see the light pattern is only outward. A side marker should also shine a little forward and back, so I can see them in the rear view mirrors. So I looked for the DOT markings, and their are none. So this not not legal as a side marker on my motor home.To summarize the important parts:1. too hard to assemble and disassemble2. no light shines to the sides3. wires too small.4. Not DOT AP2 rated.

Thin wire. Easy mounting. Not bright enough for “rock lights” they are bright at the fixture but dim light output.

Product as advertised, reasonably priced, and fits intended use. Upgraded my utility trailer with side marker lights for greater road safety + visibility for night driving. Also hoping to see more potential obstacles and avoid damage when backing the trailer into spots at night. Improves the aesthetic of the trailer. Relatively easy/straight forward install - even for me a mechanical novice. No instructions were included. Drill holes run cables thru frame, attach base plate with screw hardware included (but I used rivets which I think secured it better), snap on lens cover, wire to side marker light circuits and ground. Nothing super complicated or else I would have botched it.... Thumbs up overall.
