Removed broken glass, replaced with ease. Alignment was a little tricky, but accomplished it.

Fits well, and works great. Do realize that this does not dim automatically like OEM.

I’ve got a 17 year-old Lexus RX 350 with over 350,000 miles on it, and it is starting to show signs of wear. The film that covers the side view mirror on the passenger’s side started to peel off and it looks awful. I’ve replaced the mirror glass with this one and could not be happier with the results.I had never replaced a side-view mirror before, but after watching a couple of YouTube videos I was able to easily remove the old glass and install the replacement in about 15 minutes. Had I not done it myself, I would not be able to tell that the mirror had been replaced. Not only did the mirror glass fit perfectly into the housing, the wire connectors for the mirror’s defrost feature were located in the same spot on the replacement, making it easy to reconnect.

Giving 4 stars and not 5 dues to 3 reasons:1) NO directions. I realize the advert notes how to install, but going back online is marginally helpful. They don't tell you where the clips go on the base. That would be helpful.2) The original has the two clips for the heater, but also two wires that make contact under glue on the perimeter back of the mirror. NO IDEA where to put those wires once this new mirror is installed.. NONE.3) The original has 2 metal clips that help keep the mirror. This replacement has the holders for the clips, but they are too loose to actually hold the clips securely. The original mirror held the clips very securely. So re-assembling made me add a little epoxy to get the metal clips stable enough to push on.Overall, it seems better than the sun-damaged mirror it is replacing, but what should have been a 5min job required finagling and I still have 2 loose wires I have NO IDEA what to do with.
