While the product works great and blocks heat from going away from our patio seating there is a drawback to using this. The heat is so focused it will melt plastic parts.Make sure when you install it that the dial is in the front and not off to the side of the shield.

So I took a chance to see if it would work on my square fire pit and it did. If you leave the screws loose before attaching to the deflector, it goes on perfectly. You can then go back after and tighten them up. I thought I would need to use thread lock but I didn't. I wanted to post for those that came here thinking the same as I did.

We’ve had a patio heater under the roof of our Yardistry gazebo that’s installed on our deck. It’s basically an outdoor room with a tv and patio set of furniture. Placement of the heater needs to be near an opening and under a part of the roof that contains no wooden cross supports . Half the heat would exit the structure through the opening. This reflector is a game changer. Since the heat is reflected out little goes through the cap to the roof, and it is actually cool behind the reflector. You can feel the heat over the seating area and for a distance of over 8’ from the couch. We turned the gas to half of what we were using, so I know I’ll be saving propane, and be warmer than we were before.Installation: Instructions were ok, once you see it you’ll get it. I did reverse the thumb screws a mounting brackets to the top of the heater disc instead of what was shown in the diagram. Easier access for this 6’ guy.The one improvement I would make would be stainless steel hardware. My magnetic screw bit attracted the screw so I’m assuming it’s not stainless. Between the aluminum brackets, stainless sheet metal and steel fasteners there will be rust. For pennies more they could have made them stainless. Watching Buffalo play KC in heat under the roof. GO BUFFALO! Great product!!

There were too many screws to connect that could have already been done. The fitment isn't the greatest but it gets the job done. I've only had a chance to use it twice but I'm confident it gonna be money well spent.

Product arrived late and with hardware missing, box was not damaged, so it was simply not sent. If you read the reviews I’m not the first. Also it’s nonreturnable or eligible for refund. So now I’m stuck with a useless product, and have just 24 hours to find a replacement.
