This is great compared to my stock Breville portafilter. It looks much better pulling shots with a bottomless portafilter 54mm than using the one that came with the coffee machine, it can also be disassembled and that is really important for me as I want to maintain the polish of the wood as it looks awesome on my kitchen counter. The WDT tool is a great addition to the overall look of my coffee corner as well.
Make sure the tamp is good and compressed, it will be easy to pull good shots with that. I like how sturdy it is as well, has a pretty decent weight. Worth the price, actually cheaper when you buy 54mm bottomless portafilter and WDT tool separately, I scanned for both before purchasing this product that came together in one box.

It's only perfect if i use the breville's basket with it. If I use the basket it comes with, espresso machine couldn't create enough pressure thru pressure gauge, even if I grinded finer.I don't know how some of these reviewers make espresso without the proper pressure gauge on their machines or even proper tamping. It's like filling up air in your car tires without knowning the tire pressure.

I've been using this for several months with my Breville Bambino and it works great, no leaking, locks in solidly, looks nice, and a good price. I did swap out the included basket immediately so I can't comment on that, but the handle is nice. The included WDT tool is also OK, WDT tools aren't rocket science but the one included does the job totally fine.

The WDT tool is fine, but the bottomless portafilter, paired with my IMS basket, is great. The handle was loose but I fixed that by added some red threadlocker and it has not been an issue since. It look and feels premium and is my favorite espresso accessory so far. Also, on the bambino, it is not as super snug as the original portafilter that came with my machine, but that's a plus in my book as the original was too tight. Great value.

Overall this portafilter is great. I bought this for a Breville Bambino plus and it works and fits great. I used the portafilter that came with the unit for a couple of months and the coffee was good but not great. I wanted a bottomless portafilter, found this, and instantly bought it and it works amazing. After getting it, using it, and dialing in the grind size, the espresso that was produced from this was amazing. The espresso was smooth, easy to drink, and not bitter or tart at all. It's also a lot more forgiving than the portafilter that came with the unit. I have a dedicated espresso grinder for this and even with new coffee ground slightly off, this makes great coffee. I can't recommend this enough and would easily buy it again.
