I was hesitant and worried after looking at some reviews, and I have to say it works flawlessly on forza horizon 5 and I’m also running windows 11 and everything works perfectly. Took 3 minutes to map all controls in game for the shifter and hand brake. I will say putting together the mounting assembly took the longest as there are no directions and there’s multiple ways to assemble it based on your setup. Overall 9.5/10 in my opinion.

He shifter and handbrake work amazingly, it’s just the bracket that holds it all to your desk or wheel stand that is janky. There are two fittings pressed into the bracket that the two pins twist through, and after only one use, both fittings have managed to press themselves out so I can’t mount it to anything anymore. Currently trying to get in contact with the seller.

The mount is obviously not designed for this setup. Followed the video to install as absolutely no instructions are included. Which makes sense because it's not made for this shifter. Only one bolt holds the shifter, which broke withing 10 mins. I had a friend fabricate a new mounting plate that actually had holes in the right place to give me 4 mounting holes for the shifter. I ended up adapting a Monstertech flight stick mount for this that worked perfectly. The desk mount itself is the worst design I've ever seen. It was in the trash within the first 30 mins.

As far as I know this is one of the best setups outside $500 if not more for one from either extremely over designed options or the namebrand ones with very poor designs.This setup is simple. but be ready to do a lot of DIY mods. Which most sim'ers should be used to. The housing is noisy and a bit flimsy for a metal box. But the plate is easily removable and the whole box is easily modifiable. I've put a layer of JBweld on the H plate to quiet the metal on metal contact down. Macgyvered a bracket for the top to stabilize the box wobble. And had no idea how they expected for the clamping plates to be secured to a table. So I had to get really creative with that.The mount is clearly not made for this setup, I was left with half a bag of msc screws, Some almost looked like spares for components in the two controllers internals. But couldnt find any match. The screws that seem to be meant to screw into the bottom of the shifter box are extremely loose in the threading and can easily strip the threads out of the plate on the bottom of the box, I say they seem to be, because they're the only ones that seem to even thread into the bottom holes, And I did completely pull one of the threads out, Forcing me to have to screw it on from the top slats, Along with some help from my makeshift bracket.Theres also a switch for the "7th" shifter place on the inside of the box, with 4 switches on either control board. This one just came with the 6 pattern H plate, Which I thought I selected the 7 pattern, Likely my fault though.Only issue I have with the operation of the shifter is that in dead floating center, Up to 3rd bounces off the gate tooth on the right side, as the centering of the stick shaft is off by about an 8th inch. You do get used to it with gear throw angle, But at first it can seem like its catching. But without the bracket I made, it wobbles quite a lot on the horribly implemented mount. If I were to rebuy, Id get both these without the mount, And use the money to build my own. But the way I have the bracket, Shifts feel like a rifle bolt. Crisp, clean, and mechanical.I'll probably see if I cant get the 8 slot plate from them, if not Ill probably just have one made, Out of delrin ideally for the sound.As for the brake, Only thing I had to do to get it up to reasonable spec is wrap my old Logitech shifter boot cape around it with rubberbands. The foam "grip" they send it with is completely inadequate. Might as well have been an all metal handle. The spring does need adjusting to the deadzone point, Which can be calibrated by going to the controllers properties by searching "Joystick" in windows.But otherwise, Its a real automotive spring handbrake fitted with a potentiometer on a controlboard and a magnet, It works as you would expect from that.For the price, I absolutely recommend it over the namebrand options. If you're not getting into very serious DD competitive rigs and well over a couple grand for some casual racing. This shifter and brake are definitely the best option I've seen. Just be aware that the mounting solution they've provided is very suboptimal, And you're better off rigging your own solution up.

Great product looks very solid. But no instructions were included in how to put this together lol
