I can confirm this at least works for 4x P1600X optane drives. Install was easy. Support was quick to respond when I had a question (problem on my end). I am extremely happy to find a 4x m.2 adapter, that supports bifurcation, in this form factor.Unfortunately this is not low-profile enough to fit into a 2u rackmount chassis. I will have to cut a few relief slots in my SC825 chassis, but that's my fault for not checking dimensions before buying. It's about 6mm too tall for my specific setup. I believe that 12mm shorter would classify it as "low-profile."Will update if I ever try with pcie 4.0 or pcie 5.0 drives.
