- M Key PCIe M.2 NVME SSD (form factor 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280) is supported, SATA based M.2 SSD (B/B+M Key) is not supported, please confirm your type of SSD before purchase.
- Please check the hardware and operating system. Mac Pro 2009, 2010 and 2012 models only support PCIe-AHCI SSDs, Windows Server 2008 R2 are not compatible with NVMe SSDs.
- SSD is not included in the package.

How to Install: (Packaged product has secured the regular profile bracket already.)
Step 1:
- Put the M.2 SSD on the M.2 NVME adapter
Step 2:
- Rip off the protective films of the silica gel pad, then put the pad on the front side of the M.2 SSD
Step 3:
- Put the heatsink(back side) on the front side of the silica gel pad.
Step 4:
- Use the screws to secure the heatsink and M.2 SSD.

Another heatsink that won't fit an ssd. Why don't they build them tall enough??

This adapter is off sufficient quality, comparable to many on the market, but this has a nice heatsink that is higher quality than the others that I've received in similar products. Can Recommend.

No issues, had to double the thermal adhesive to bridge the gap between the nvme and heat sink.

I used an PCIE slot extender with this adapter (because of a 3X sized graphics card blocked the PCIE x1 slots) and stacked the extender slot on top of an obsolete PCI slot. I reduced the adapter's bracket height by cutting it and slotting it with a bolt. Also, I reduced the bottom lips of the provided M.2 Heatsink with an angle grinder to reduce its depth and used both supplied thermal pads (double stack). This gives a tighter fit between the heatsink and m.2 SSD Stick. Performance of the SSD and SSD temperatures were as expected.

First it was super fast delivery! I am so hurry to need a nvme adapter for upgrading PC. It works perfectly in windows 10 with no additional drivers. Love how easy it was to install samsung 960 PRO Series. Very happy with this m2 adapter. Just plug your new ssd on it and ready to go. If you need any nvme drives THIS IS THE M2 ADAPTER FOR YOU!
