Searched through a lot of similar items before settling on this one. It's got great build quality, and the heat spreader is a nice addition. It pops into the slot, adds an M.2 drive and just works without any drivers. This is a true PCIE passthrough, so it only works with the "M Key" M.2 drives (the ones with only one notch). Those are a tad more expensive than the B Key drives, but the improved speed is well worth it.

In my Plex server I wanted extra m.2 and this fit the bill, it installed easy and was recognized by device manager, super easy to add extra m.2s, good heatsink aswell for coolong

I'm using this adapter card in a PCIe X4 slot with a Micron 22x80mm NVME drive and it works fine. The card comes with everything you need, including the heat sink, thermal paste, screws, and a screw driver. We'll have to wait and see how long it lasts, but for now I'm very happy with it.

And purchased before I moved to Florida never had a chance to install it. It’s been two years and haven’t had any problems with it.
