I'm giving this 3 stars because it didn't come with instructions (there is a diagram in the door that shows how it is wired). It looks pretty straight forward to wire up, but I don't like to install devices like this without reading a manual front to back and being 100% sure that I have no surprises when i turn it on for the first time.

This is a basic unit that works but could be better. There is no manual or installation instructions other than what is on the inside of the door. This is a basic wiring diagram that give yuo some hints on how it works. The casing and switches are solid. Installing it went well and it does work as it should. It gives priority to shore power and transfers fairly quickly if disconnected. Overall, it is OK and does the job. However, I have others in use that do work better and are at a lower price point.

Poor product – no manual included. There is no indicator light for generator or shore power. Without a manual, I can't determine if it prioritizes shore power or generator power. Additionally, there is no user-configurable option to change this setting. Additionally, no cable connectors strain relief are included with the package and it really should have those considering its price.
