The 10 plys of maple combine with a unique 7x13 size to give this snare a higher tuning range and a cool mix of depth, body and pop. This snare is awesome at all dymanic levels, you can low for a fat sound even tune up tight for a nice snappy snare reponse and also alot of pop and depth in the snare,

10 ply Maple really projects and sounds fat when tuned medium..I have quite a few 13 x 7 snares and this one is quickly becoming a favorite.... If you're on the fence, fall off on the purchase side...you'll be happy...

Great sounding snare! The hardware is good quality too. Finish is more dark grey than black but looks great.
