Small when folded; unfold and fold easily. Works well for both, Cello or my Viola de Gamba.

Love this cello stand, very stable tripod stand all parts are neat, whole stand feels fancy schemancy. Now cello has own place to go. Very nice.

We wanted to display our wedding "guest book" slash art piece in our living room, and this stand is perfect. It fits a full size cello well. I wouldn't trust it around a toddler or a dog, but is sturdy enough for most other day-to-day use.

This is a sturdy cello stand! It’s adjustable so it works for every size cello. There’s a way to hang the bow too. Having it out & displayed instead of in the case is convenient & encourages my daughter to practice more. Pictured is her 3/4 size cello. Great purchase!

Era justo lo que necesitaba para acomodarlo en mi habitación y ocupara menos espacio, además, cabe perfectamente con todo y funda suave.

Perfect folding stand for my step sons full size cello. He always has to bring it back and forth between here and his mom's and this is a nice way to display it for the time he is here and we can put the clunky case in the basement. The bottom supports extend so you can adjust them. No issues here with sturdiness but the cello is in a corner so the risk of someone bumping it is very low. It does not have a place to rest his bow but we just leave it on the bookshelf to the side of the stand. Peace of mind to not worry about it and get the clunky case out of our small living room. Two thumbs up from me!

This cello stand is amazing! I have a 4/4 cello and have been playing for around 4 years! It’s super sturdy and I can’t wait to tell my classmates! It will not drop your cello nor will it do anything to the finger board! I would just check your stand just because of the other reviews that said it broke. Mine wasn’t so it was ready to go. It’s super light weight and you can take it around! It’s a must buy!!!

Muy útil, no sé porqué no lo compré antes. Es muy práctico, fácil de armar y adaptable a la altura que uno desee. Yo lo utilizo para un violonchelo de 3/4 y aún así tiene opción de hacer lo más alto.

I switch between cello and electric upright bass (EUB). I use an Ingles cello/bass stand (highly recommended!) but wanted an additional stand that was easier to carry (the Ingles is very solid but also very heavy, not compact, not very travel-friendly, &c). This Peak stand is lightweight, folds very nicely and compactly, and is easily configured for holding either the cello or the EUB. The biggest drawback for me, especially as this is intended for gigging, is that the instrument sits right above the floor and there's no way to adjust the sitting height. In other words, no leaving the end-pin extended between sessions. Not a deal-breaker, but I will probably keep this one in the studio and look for a different stand to take on the road.I've used other Peak instrument and music stands for years and never had a problem with the quality, so am hoping for the same with this purchase!

I love it! I was surprised when this came in a box only 23 in. long. It compacts very well, because the stand has a double telescoping neck. The lower supports are adjustable to different heights by unscrewing a pin, which is very easy, and the clamps are also adjustable. The plastic joints and fixtures seem durable, so I think it will last a long time. There is no bow hook, but who really needs one? I just hang my bow from one of the prongs on the neck brace. I really like this design.

Was apprehensive since this was one of the cheaper models but I bought it because all the others were too big. Other models the legs stick way out. This one the tripod style legs were more compact. I also liked the black color. When it arrived it was closed and I was afraid that I would have to put it together and it would be wobbly and uneven. However, the shaft was telescopic and just pulled out, tall. No assembly was required I just had to extend the shaft the. The clamps are like open-close levers that you can clamp tightly on the shaft to secure the exact length you want so you can customize it to any length. I was also reluctant to order this model because it didn't have a bow holder. However, I resolved this by resting the bow on one of the string pegs of the cello. The material is light but very sturdy and has a nice smooth texture with a slight grip to it. It doesn't look like the paint will chip nor that the metal will scratch the instrument at all. It is compact so it will fit in any corner of the room and it is low profile so your cello can be the center of attention. I love this stand and wish we had gotten it sooner. It is a quality, practical, functional, stylish, easy to use product and we highly recommend it. Happy customer!

We have a full size cello with 2 kids who play. The cello was being left on the floor and in the way. I just wanted a simple inexpensive stand to protect the cello and keep the house neat. I was hesitant to buy this stand because it was the least expensive, so I assumed it was not as good of a quality. I was wrong. It arrived within a couple of days, my 12 year old put it together and it fits the cello perfectly. We placed the stand against a wall next to a piano and it actually looks very nice there. The stand is low profile so all you see is the cello and not a bulky stand. I highly recommend this product. I wish I had gotten it sooner.
