We purchased the 10x20 carport tent 3 years ago. Since then, it has been incredibly helpful and durable. It allowed us to empty (and stop paying for!) our storage unit, sort and purge decades worth of excess stuff, and have a dry place to let the kids play outside while it’s raining. We have had this tent assembled the entire time and it has withstood all sorts of storms and other abuse, including the infamous “Icepocalypse” that hit the area earlier this year (with 2-3 inches of ice). The tent is in a partially sheltered location, on a concrete pad between the fence and garage, which helps with some of the wind, but it handles the rest quite well with the help of sand weights on each of the eight legs. The only notable wear is a bit of rust from the extremely humid ¾ of the year in the Pacific Northwest, and some weakening of the vinyl roof cover and door panels from the intense sun the other ¼ of the year. The side walls are still in great shape, though we recently ordered a new roof cover and door panels as they were getting brittle from the UV exposure (and the roof had some damage from sharp debris). The seller was extremely helpful in getting the right parts shipped out, and despite a minor mixup on the roof panel that was shipped they were able to make everything right. Betty was very kind, courteous and professional throughout the process of determining exactly which parts/sizes we needed. We will definitely be a return customer!Pros: Sturdy, durable, attractive, spaciousCons: Clips to hold the doors open could be a bit less brittle (cracked after 2 years), cold and humid weather can cause condensation to form on the metal poles and drip inside

TLDR: Worked great until the wind body-slammed it upside down, it took the hit surprisingly well, customer service was excellent and quickly sent replacement parts. The words "heavy duty" and "severe weather conditions" plus the positive reviews are what led us to buy this particular carport. We live in a very windy area that gets a fair amount of snow, so I knew we had to really make sure it was anchored, so I bought some additional stuff to try to really keep it locked down - more weight bags, stainless steel U-bolts to connect to beefier ground anchors - these things: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LZL156F/.It was very easy to assemble, but where we had to put it made it very challenging to get the left side anchored as well as I would have liked. We got some extra weight bags to help hold it down, and it worked fantastically the entire winter (see picture). In the spring some runoff softened the ground and a very strong gust of wind picked up the carport and because the right side was still anchored it flipped the whole thing on its head, and it really looked like it had been completely trashed. Upon further inspection, all the tarp-like material was fine and most of the metal parts were fine - we had a total of 10 parts that had been damaged - 3 of one type of tube, 3 of another, 2 of another, and one each of two types of connectors. We disassembled everything and put it away so no further damage would happen. As winter approached again we were trying to figure out our options and I decided to try to contact the company. This was the hardest part of the process since I couldn't find any contact info for "Peaktop Outdoor" online. I eventually saw something on a review of one of their other products - it's shipped by "Overwhelming," and the reviewer mentioned something about going through Amazon to get to their customer service. I eventually figured this out (and feel slightly embarrassed that I hadn't noticed this before). If you look at the top of the item listing, you'll see the name of the product (and some other stuff) then a horizontal line, then the price (and some other stuff) and another horizontal line, then a section that is easy to gloss over called "Delivery and Support." The 3rd icon there ("Customer Support") opens a window that gives you a "Contact us" link. I used the Amazon built-in chat (which is more like an e-mail messaging thing) and explained the situation. 12 hours later I got a response from a person named Jenna with an image of the parts list and was asked to identify what was damaged. The next day I figured out the quantities of each part and sent that info back and about 12 hours later I was given instructions on what Jenna needed in order to send replacement parts. I asked for clarification because the process was a little unconventional, but Jenna easily answered my question and in short order the replacement parts were on their way.Jenna sent me a FedEx tracking link and the evening the parts were delivered she sent another note to verify that I'd gotten everything and that it was correct. I checked out what had been received and it was spot on.We have yet to set it up for this winter but feel confident that if we can get it anchored equally well on both sides that it will serve our needs as well as it did last year. One last note on the flipping - the wind here is stupid strong. We were watching when the carport was picked up - we had full, extra-large weight bags on all 8 legs and the wind STILL picked the whole thing up.

I’m going review setup and things I would purchase additionally. Only been up a day, so can’t speak on sturdiness over a long period. I found it easy to setup as all parts are labeled, even if instructions are fairly sparse. Took a bit over 2 hours and I was not rushing. Anchoring, filling sandbags, etc.. added some additional time. Appears to be well built, but will find out after first snow storm. The sandbags that came with it are pretty small and don’t have a very secure way of attaching to the poles. I purchased 4 40lb bags that are secured to the poles with 2 different methods for very secure fit. I used the ones that came with it on the middle poles. I also bought longer ground anchors to ensure a secure anchor point and stability, also lightweight ratchet straps to secure to ground anchors rather than using included rope. Overall I think it’s a good value and hopefully will hold up to snow and high winds. I live in New England for reference
