You just can't find better hardware than Pearl. I've used one of these boom arms for years, and just added two more to expand my crashes. The booms can hold weight even at max extension and the nuts will never loosen on their own.

A ver. Totalmente recomendable!!

Use it to add a 16’’ crash on my existing 14’’ crash stand. Works perfectly !

Decent price for a solid and sturdy boom arm. Very pleased with the purchase, good weight and not at all flimsy. All wing nuts tighten extremely well and the part as a whole is down right SOLID.

I was getting a little over crowded with boom stands. I clipped one of these guys on a boom stand and the other on a tom mount. Worked so great I bought another one.

This stand works great in my rack. It is adjustable in the right ways to position the cymbal perfectly. Not too long and not too short. With an 18” or 16” crash I can position it close to the high hat and have plenty of room.

Ideale handzame klem. Hij lijkt eerst te licht maar houd zonder problemen 18 inch chrash ride. Neemt weinig ruimte in

The only reason I'm giving Four Stars is not because of any issue with the product, I took a star away because it is NOT A CYMBAL STAND. I left a note for Amazon to fix the description but that seems not to have happened yet. I spotted a similar problem on the same type product in the 900 series, too. What this IS is a Cymbal Holder. It's set up to go into the Tom Mount atop the Pearl bass if you have only one Tom installed. It has an adjustable depth ring attached. The picture is absolutely accurate, but it's not a whole stand as described. My mistake for not suspecting there was an error. I didn't return the item I ordered because I realized I could fit it onto a Pearl 830 straight stand I had and by doing converting it to a boom. It's absolutely a quality item just as you'd expect from Pearl. The boom will handle an elephant if you choose to mount one. I've got a 22" Ride on mine.

Works so well!! I have attached a 20" ride to this and it holds up so well. I was in debates about it, as it seemed to small to hold that sort of weight, but it's hands down amazing and must have as an extension!!

Works perfectly for my splash cymbal. I have this extending from a straight stand with a crash cymbal on it and this has a pretty decent reach, so my splash isn't in the way of the crash cymbal it is next to at all. It also feels very sturdy like it could hold other types of cymbals as well. I will probably be ordering another one soon and trying it out with some larger cymbals. Way cheaper than getting a whole stand or getting the individual connecting parts at a music store. I saved $50 compared to what I almost bought in a store.
