I was afraid this might not fit the hoops on my ~2015 Pdp Concept drumset, but it does fit perfectly!

Purchased to mount a RotoTom. Extremely sturdy. RotoTom solid and does not move. Used to mount RotoTom with a boom cymbal style arm clamped to post/screw under Tom but drum would bounce when struck and set up was never consistent. With this mount and Pearl arm, drum is solid and set up is easy and consistent. No need to adjust every gig unlike the other way I was mounting it. Very satisfied.

I used this with the jungle gig adapter kit. I’m not sure why this isn’t sold together.I had a tiny children’s kit for the youngsters with a 16 inch kick drum. I needed to get it to sound better. I bought this product to lift the kick up to get the beater to hit in the center. The build quality is excellent and to be honest it’s over kill for this little cheap kit that’s not a pearl kit. I modified the kick drum rim to get it to fit. Adding a good batter head with the lift made a high quality kick drum sound.

Pearl are by far yhe best drums and this adaptor turned my floor tom into a mounted tom just where I wanted it. Thanks Pearl. Always thinking.

This thing is genius: it allows you to transform your floor tom in a bass drum. Strange fact, you have to buy a tom suspension mount to work, but to buy the two kits is inexpensive, so it worth it. I have used it extensively in gigs, studio recording and lessons, and it works beautifully. I kept the drumhead I usually use on the floor tom (Evans EC2), just adding some foam on the edge and the protective patch for the beaters (yes, I used it with my twin pedals). As reso, I put on the old reso and cutted an hole in it and I put a small towel in contact with the batter head. So I obtained a very small and practical jungle kit which works nicely, whenever I need it. I would recommend it to anyone who can need an alternative small drumset without spend much money.

I bought 2 of these to mount my roto toms to cymbal stands. They work as advertised. I did however have to use two 1/4" washers underneath each hook to allow these to bottom out. I have Pearl fat tone rims on my rotos, so they kept wanting to turn up while tightening them down. If anybody runs into this issue due to using different rims, you may be able to fix your problem this way.

Pearl does a great job with these claw clamp mounts, and this one is no exception. It's smooth, easy to use, and durable. Tighten those claws onto your drum rim and it'll stay... at least with a rack tom. I wouldn't ever recommend using stuff like this for floor toms.NOTE: These work with Pearl tom arms (other brands have different diameters, so stick with Pearl+Pearl) – the arm goes into the hole, and then into the drum itself (which should also have a hole of the same size in its shell). Your drum may not have this hole. Either find a Pearl drum (or any drum) that has one, or... drill it yourself? Idk. Look, it'll work just fine, but you are going to have a hard time getting the exact positioning you want if your arm can't extend into the drum shell - you'll be stuck with a sort-of-long-armed tom. Works great if you have the tom arm on a separate stand.
