The key does not fit all standard lug. Nuts on the drums, they're not cut right. Now I have 3 drum keys. I can't use.

These are very nice drum keys. Sturdy, bulky, strong. Hole for a lanyard. The metal where it goes over the lug is thick and strong so will probably not split with extended use. It's inexpensive, so I just keep this on my Wish List constantly. I put a lanyard on each one and keep one in each car, one attached to each drum set, etc. To be sure I am never anywhere without a drum key.P.S. 2023. Wow, I used to buy these here for $3.89. For a while, any time I placed an order for something else I would add one of these on. At $16 I'd go back to using a 6" adjustable wrench!

It was cheap and it worked perfect, no complaints, order came quickly, has a nice hole in it so you can put a string or chain ring thru it so you do not lose it.

The pearl K050 key fits most standard drum sets. I have a Tama set and the key worked fine. It looks good and small enough to hang around your neck if you want to. I just hang it on the drums

A lifetime of hard use will not wear out these babies. They are solid and durable. The excellent feature is a hole for stringing on a necklace, (small) keychain, or hanging strap thong. That will make them harder to lose, though not impossible. Incidentally, these have sufficient radii to facilitate all the torquing anyone could reasonably require. You can "power on," if your axes require it. Just be prepared for superannuated Melanie fans to tell you about their "brand new pair of roller skates," while you smile cognizantly and the mystified puppies in the percussion section ponder quizzically. These come with a good grade of plating, comfortable feel, and decent balance.

This is a drum key. It tunes drums. It has one purpose and that's all.I like this model because it is no-nonsense, easy on the fingers (the plastic logo area is nice to touch) and I've never had one break, unlike some other generic drum keys I've used. It is heavy enough to feel solid but is light enough to carry around in my pocket all the time. I have used and owned literally hundreds of different drum keys and some look cool but are strange feeling to use. Some don't allow for the touch feel because of too many ridges, twisty-twirly bits, or lack of flat area where you have to press to tighten or loosen the lug. I've used knock-off drum keys which have this basic shape but are either made from crappy metal alloy that crumble at the socket, or they have sharp ridges which rip the skin, or at least irritate it.There are hundreds of drum keys to choose from, this is my favorite.

High-quality heavy-duty look and feel, but still nice compact size. Embedded plastic Pearl logo is cool and unique. Edges are nicely rounded except around the string/chain hole, where the corners feel slightly pointy but not sharp enough to cut or scrape. Precision fit, with very little play on the lugs. Only possible improvement would be a top extension to allow quick spinning with finger and thumb until some tension is reached, and a little smoother corners around the hole.

Works great, Product speaks for itself. The pearl logo is night to have, hole in the center is good for a piece of string.I have it hanging on the side of my stick bag right now.
