I was looking for a maple snare that I could gig, with no worries. At nearly half the price of my DW Perfomance snare, and matching color to my Export kit, this Professional Series snare was an easy decision. To my surprise, the bandmates actually prefer it live to my DW snare. The rolls sound perfect, and I love the hard knock this thing puts out that 8 inch maple snares known for.
