INSTALLATION
1. Turn off Ignition.
2. Keep your key fob (if applicable) at least 35 ft. (10m) away from your Jeep Compass. This prevents your car from using power to transmit signals to your proximity key fob sensor.
3. Leave your driver’s door open for 15 minutes to allow your ECU to shut down completely.
4. Locate and disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug.
5. Plug in your Pedal Commander in line with your accelerator pedal assembly plug until you hear a “click.”
6. Make sure the cables are tucked in place so they do not interfere with your driving experience.
7. Place and mount the Pedal Commander to your desired location using the velcro and mounting bracket that's included in the box.
IMPORTANT
To avoid receiving check engine lights or other issues, it is important that you follow these instructions properly. Also, please ensure that you hear a “click” sound while connecting the plugs, as this signifies a secure connection.

I ordered this having my doubts because unfortunately Amazon said that it wouldn’t fit my 2021 compass trailhawk. But I was able to get it installed within 15 minutes and it works excellent.

This thing makes the engine do what it was made to do - and in sport mode it picks up and lines up Gear wise perfect - This Alfa/Fiat engine is choked to boredom by factory and was never like that in Alfa cars . Its like buying a new car after install and All jeep Compass and any modern jeep model should have this multi behavour option built in by factory But as they dont do that we have to install it our self …🤷

My 2020 Jeep Compass trailhawk was sluggish and I had to take time to join the on going traffic. Sometime the gear shift was slow and you had to push the pedal hard. This totally changed after I installed the Pedal commader and this changed they way the compass accelerates and how quick the gear aligns with the pedal pushed. I would recommend to everyone who owns a Jeep Compass. This is how the stock pedal should have been from the company. I have kept it in sport mode 0 settings by default. Jus love this product.

Great product Installed in Jeep compass it Improved the gear lag by miles, makes driving so enjoyable, eliminated the lazy Gear shift feel ,i mostly use city mode and it meets the requirement of quick shifts.Sport mode is addictive and mostly for highway spirited driving while felt Sports + is strictly for drag racing🤣 its a lot for city /highway use.Overall satisfied with the product

This little device completely changes the way the renegade accelerates. I hated the factory sluggish response. It’s actually kinda dangerous when merging into a freeway. I feel like a sitting duck waiting to be slammed by oncoming cars. This solved that issue. I love it.

Was very easy to install. It absolutely improves response time. Just don't think it was worth 300+ dollars. Still I am happy with it.
