10 STEPS FALSE START MONITOR
- Every time you walk or end the step counting, please stay still for 3 to 5 seconds, and then check the recorded steps.

Pedometer Setup Instructions
- When using for the first time, please press 4 buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, the device will be activated and reset, the LCD will display full screen for 2 seconds, and enter step mode.
- In the step counting mode, press and hold the "MODE" button for 3~5 seconds and a "human sign flashes" will appear on the screen, which means it will enter the step counting mode. The number of steps will be counted only after more than 10 consecutive steps. When the "MODE" button is pressed again for 3~5 seconds, the "human sign" disappears and the step counting mode is exited; long press the "RESET" button for 3~5 seconds to clear the number of steps.
- In "Time Mode", press and hold the "SET" button until "ADJ" flashes for 2 seconds to enter the setting mode, and the set symbol flash.
- After setting the "Year", you can switch between "Kilometer" and "Mile".
- During the setting process, if no button is pressed within 10 seconds, the setting will be automatically confirmed and return to the step mode.

Well I'll start by saying that, at first I was going to only give 4 stars, but my inability to not be able to figure out instructions is probably my own fault... When I was trying to set it up initially, a Rubik's cube came to mind - I couldn't figure that out either! I went back to the Amazon page with great larger instructions-yes the instruction book was too small for my aging eyes. There really are great instructions included, a lot of them! Since I had never had a pedometer before, I was a little lost. I have totally figured it out now and absolutely love this thing!! I like the fact that I can wear it and use it without hooking up to my cell phone-great if you're worried about privacy1I've worn it as a watch, the band is nice and flexible-and soft! Very comfy to wear. The included clip is nice too - snaps onto a pocket or waistband without any slipping out of place. It's really great to have these options. So far all the functions work with great accuracy. This thing really keeps me motivated to do the steps I've programed in for the day.It seems to be really high quality, doesn't feel cheap at all - fairly good value for the money! Oh, and there is an extra battery included and a tiny screw driver-nice to have on hand!
