There are 4 included and are easy to install. Ensure you install them between 4"-6" from the edge of your paddle blade for optimal performance.

I had some old worn out ones on my pelican paddle that were really loose and would just fall down, ordered these, they are quite tight and took some effort to get where I wanted but I'm happy because they should stay there.

Glad that I kept searching until I found a drip guard that had the same inside diameter as the diameter of my kayak paddle. Most are shown as 1.18 inch, or 30mm inside diameter which is actually 1 and 3/16 of an inch. Those would not stay in place on my paddles.This Pelican drip guard was shown as 1-1/8 inch, and that is exactly what it measured. It is also much thicker material. I think it is well worth the extra $3 compared to other 4 pc. sets.Because it is a tight fit, I had to keep the paddle wet and work it into place. My paddle has a coating of black material about 12 inches long in the center of the lower paddle arm. This is where I had a slight struggle to get it to slide past this area.

Took some work but got them to stretch over 1 and 1/4 paddle shafts. Package recommended 1 and 1/8 inch shafts and they fit great on that smaller size as well
