For my purposes, they are sufficient. I store articles, etc., in them, but not on a daily basis. I would have preferred a sturdier item, but I could not tell from the item's description on the website. For household use they do the job.

I have the use of only one hand, so these 3 sided jackets are really helpful for me to keep a series of bills or other papers together when I need them. Easy to grab & go for meetings. Made of thin cardboard, I have found them easy to expand to hold my receipts etc. Have used them for years & they’ve held up.

Thin cardboard, not as strong as standards. Disadvantage is it does not "accordian" to accommodate varying amounts papers. It either expands the full 2 inches or stays flat for only about 4 pages. Because of the special folding for expansion, folder won't slightly open either for more paper & papers will get malled. The advantage is when fulled up and open, it stands up. It is like a slim box that stands alone for portability and real neat use better than the standard types. Very nice for 2, 3, or 4 folders and loose papers can go in. Glad to use and great for on & off attention on a work project or research. A very best as the advantage outweighs the disadvantage. Great Buy, they were inexpensive and for home and personal use such as sewing notes. Real glad with them!!
