A brilliant set of folders for putting David Allen's Getting Things Done system into practice.Nice that you can just reverse fold the right-hand folder to give you more of the left-hand third cut folders which are likely used most in that kind of system.

I originally saw these at £20 and thought that was too much. I was pleased when the price came down to about £11 something so I bit the bullet.The only complaint I have is that they are now about half that at £6.81 (mid July 2024) for the box of 100! Grab an absolute bargain if you are interested in these.

The "cardstock" used for these Esselte Pendaflex brand file folders has been severely downgraded from the Esselte Pendaflex interior file folders I've purchased previously. This new version folder doesn't even have enough structural integrity to remain stiff and flat on its own, and the surface is rough rather than smooth, which makes them stick to each other in the hanging file.In fact, even though they're brand new, they feel like very well worn folders, ready to be taken out of service and put into the recycle bin!I will not be purchasing Esselte-branded products in future.

Had to return the folders, as they weren't consistently sized, which was rather bizarre. It appears they have untrained machine operators and no QC department. Most were of a similar size, but quite a few were either taller or shorter than the majority. It would be a perfect opportunity to make a joke about a child in some foreign country cutting them out with scissors, but the box says they're made in Tennessee. I'm no fan of the "you get what you pay for" expression, but I should've spent the extra dollar to get Smead folders.

File folders are about as mundane a product as there is - this is like reviewing paper clips. The box contains what it's supposed to contain and the product is the old familiar file folder I've been using for the past fifty years. No real emotional impact here, folks - just garden-variety satisfaction.
