Product Description

Wine-loving mother daughter team, family owned & woman operated. Say goodbye to abandoned wine glasses & forgotten wine charms.

Jeannine, creator and owner of Wine Glass Writer, was tired of pouring half-full glasses of good wine down the drain and rewashing glasses during her parties due to wine glass abandonment. She wanted to offer her guests a better way to keep track of their wine. So Jeannine created a non-toxic, temporary glass marker that could be used to identify wine glasses and differentiate one guest’s wine glass from another. Perfect for all wine glasses, and an absolute necessity for stemless glassware.

“Iʼve witnessed too much wine charm confusion! We always forget our wine charm identity, we seldom forget our own name. Wine Glass Writer solves the problem. And some really amazing art has resulted from the use of these pens. I have hated to wash some of it away.”

No More Confusion

What a fantastic and fun way to keep track of your wine glass! Simply use these glass markers to write your name on your glass (or get creative with a design) and wait 1-3 minutes for ink to dry. When enjoying chilled wine, write your name on the base of the glass or above the pour line.

  • Easily identify your wineglass
  • Stays on for the entire party
  • Label dishes, pitchers and glasses
  • Safe for any nonporous surface
  • No smudging - dries in 1-3 minutes
  • Washes off with a soap & sponge
  • Certified non-toxic

Play With It

The Wine Glass Writer can help you identify your glass and your drink. We love to use the pens when wine tasting to help recall what we are tasting and what we like. Write the name of the wine and vintage (and even your tasting notes!) directly onto your glass. Have fun and draw pictures of aromatic impressions (blueberries, cherries, tobacco)...and don't forget to rate your wine with a few stars.

"I found them an improvement on the wine charm and more artistically expressive, write your name or a drawing, they are completely brilliant and washable. Of all the impractical accessories I accumulated in my search, Wine Glass Writer was the cheapest and most usable bit of frivolity."

Guide Your Guests

Whether they are looking for the non-dairy or the spicy salsa, your guests will appreciate your helpful labels. Be the ultimate host with Wine Glass Writer, ideal for use on platters to label cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and more. Non-toxic and works wonderfully on glazed ceramics.

Add a Personal Touch

It's always the little finishing details that can make the biggest impression. Make your guests feel extra special by labeling their dinner plates with names, or a quirky little guide to dining (think: always start with the smallest fork first!) Get conversation started with a thoughtful touch for everyone around the table.

Write, Wash, Repeat

Don’t confuse the Wine Glass Writer with permanent wine glass pens. While Wine Glass Writer ink goes on smoothly, sets quickly, and remains vibrant throughout the life of the party, it washes off effortlessly with a soapy sponge when the party is over.

At a winery 10 years ago I bought a set of these pens. The last one finally gave out after labeling hundreds of bottles. Best wine pens around.

the tip of the pen is very thin. You can not read well what is written in The Glass !!

We use these to write on plastic-ware that's going in the fridge with food in it — which farmers market vendor it's from, the date it's from, or name of who in the household is supposed to take it for lunch, etc. Otherwise you're cluttering up the world with yellow-sticky notes to label things. The pens work nicely on any smooth, hard(-ish), preferably clear plastic, then wash off easily in water. (They do not always wipe off easily from nubbly/textured plastic.) For readability and ease of cleaning, we prefer these colors to the metallic ones (gold, silver) of same brand that we previously had.

They always ask me where I bought it! Successful among friends.

These work well and are a better alternative to wine charms since you can forget who they belong to too whereas writing your name on your glass is indisputable!

I use these pens for marking spice jars. I buy my spices locally, and fill my own jars (also an Amazon purchase). The spices provide colorful backdrops for the pen colors; they look great and clean off easily. When I change up the spices in jars, I can easily wipe off the penned label and write a new one.

These are great....even though I use the wine rings to go on the stems....I forget which one I used. At least I don't forget my name or initials. The writers stay on the glass and easily clean off...

The pen that worked was easy to use although I do wish they made them more of a fine point! And then it washed off easily with soap and water. Fun idea! Just critical issue with two markers being almost completely dried out so I'm returning of course. Colors good but for autumn an orange as 4th pen would be great!
