Ordered this part after researching my malfunctioning pool heater on YouTube. It worked like a charm! I will say that it has more plastic parts to it than the original part that it replaced, but so far it is working just fine.

I do not care that many of the components are made out of plastic as long as it works and it does. The cost is at three times less than the original Purex/Pentair OEM part.

I ordered a replacement back in later October 2021. The unit lasted only 6 months. So I order this replacement. I can't blame the seller, they don't make them. I got a faulty one. It happens with electronics. Installation is super easy. You need plumbers tape, an adjustable wrench, and either screwdriver or small socket depending on what model filter you have. I takes about 10 to 15 minutes to install. Be sure to mark which wire goes where before removing them from the old one. Snug the unit down, don't crank it down. Check for leaks. Yes, I would order again. My filter is 23 years old. $42 is cheaper than $4,000.

This item was perfect and saved me over $300. It was so simple and easy to replace. My pool heater seems to be working better than before. But it just might be me because I was the one who fixed it.

The same thing happens to me when I ordered a Pentair 470190 pressure switch for my heater. Unfortunately, the product that arrived was a Tecmark 4152P-DD, not what I ordered. The switch had a plastic housing, not the metal of the Pentair genuine part. Somewhere along the way, the supply chain sent what looks to be a replacement part instead of the real thing. The problem is, the product was misrepresented and sold as a genuine part. I will never buy anything else from this vendor.
