The pens are great, the ink dries in 2 seconds, which is big plus for me (left-handed). It’s not a fine point, but works for me.It may bleed through the paper a bit, so I would use a thicker paper or a legal pad.

This review is for Pentel Floatune Rollerball, 0.8mm medium point, Black & Blue Ink, Pack of 8 pens (BY108PF8AC). These pens are enjoyable to write with. They write smoothly with no skipping and start writing mostly right away. When closing, the cap clicks, and when opening pen and placing cap on the end, it also clicks and is held on the end securely. The blue color is a medium blue, not to be mistaken for black. The black color is typical black.

These are the finest writing pens that I have ever used. I am a bit of a stationary addict, so I have tried all kinds of pens in my day. These pens write smoother than any rollerball I have ever used, including Monteblancs. The ink is quick drying, so much like a good gel pen, smudging is not an issue. They are definitely better than any ballpoint and you don't have any of the hassles you have with fountain pens. I hope that Pentel commits to this ink and develops more form factors for it as my only little complaint is that they are a bit too skinny for extended periods of writing. Put it in a pen with a larger more comfortable grip, and you might have the perfect pen!
