Hi-Polymer erasers do not crack or harden with age and remain soft and ready to use when you need them. Block erasers come with a protective sleeve to keep you and the eraser clean. The small block style is perfect for getting into little corners, while the large block erases large areas quickly.

These are excellent for soft pencils, B and softer. OK with HB and get progressively less effective with harder lead. A little less effective on harder leads than soft foam or gum, but a bit more durable.

Soft, white eraser works pretty well, similar results to the pencil top erasers by the same brand. Helpful in erasing colored pencil marks, too.

The Pentel Hi-polymer Soft Erasers are the best pencil erasers that I have ever used. Unlike the normal pink erasers at the end of pencils or similar in size to these, these easily erase pencil without destroying or rubbing a hole in the paper. Erasing eats away the eraser not the paper or other media. I highly recommend these erasers for home, school and work purposes.

I picked these up for my wife who is into pencil art and colored pencils, so she's always looking around the house for an eraser. They surprised me with their size, they're about 2/3ds the size of what my mind was picturing for "white vinyl eraser", which makes them a touch more challenging to hold in my big mitts, but it's more a getting used to thing than an actual problem. Their erasing performance is quite good, working well on both graphite and colored pencils (as much as you can expect on a colored pencil, anyway). The eraser seems to be significantly more gentle on the paper than many of the others we have, it doesn't seem to rough up the surface of even softer papers much at all while removing the pencil marks.I'd definitely call this one a good buy, particularly at a price under a buck a piece - you're not going to get decent erasers at the craft store for that!

I broadly love the white low/no dust erasers like these. Great for mixed media, erasing graphite for watercolor, anything where you have lighter (but not necessarily light light) lines and don't want to damage the paper. I'm super familiar with the Pentel Hi-Polymer eraser sizes, so could see on sight that they're the smaller variety, and I'm super not mad at it. These are softer than many of the erasers like this I've used or currently have, which seems to elevate the magic these possess. (The OG Hi-Polymers were my favorite previously.)If somehow you haven't tried these, they're absolutely light years above pink erasers, kneaded, gum, the triangles, basically all other erasers. Well worth a shot. Probably in that context not a box of 36 like this literal commitment to erasing, but at min. a single to give it a go.

As someone who went to art school, I really appreciate a good eraser! We used to use erasers like this back in school as well as the popular kneaded erasers as well. The good thing about the kneaded kind is that they largely don't make any mess, but the downside is that they don't really erase all that well, particularly if you need to erase marks completely without destroying your paper. That is where these beautiful erasers really shine! If you need to erase something completely and cleanly, these are the ones you want. They are very very soft, and will remove almost all pencil marks in an area if necessary. Best of all, because the eraser is so soft and absorbent, you can erase large areas of marks without destroying the tooth of the paper. With some erasers, you are able to scrub off your marks, but it also ends up burnishing the paper, making a smooth spot that stands out on an otherwise nicely textured pencil drawing. It may seem like Overkill to buy this many erasers at once, but because they are so soft, you will go through them over time. They do live up to their promise in regards to the eraser dust sticking together. They do create a bit of dust, but it is super easy to clean up. It really does hold together well, and doesn't create a giant mess on your table or drawing. For the price, these are really hard to beat. They clean up graphite from paper, or even from the table if you happen to miss a few strokes. Of course, if you have kids, you can also use these erasers to get pencil marks off the wall.Super happy with them overall. It takes me back to my art school days, and has made me want to draw more.

These Pentel hi-polymer soft erasers are my favorite. They work very well and are erased very cleanly. They can even erase colored pencils (although a hint of tint is left behind). This allows for small corrections if needed. They erase various lead types but seem not to work as well with a harder lead like HB and 2B (when shading that is). I like to use these for art but they work well in my classroom as well. These erase regular #2 pencils with ease. I tend to write hard but this eraser erased things well. It left a faint image behind but it did not destroy the page. What you see in the photo could be the impression left by my heavy handwriting. If I were sketching, these would erase very well with no sign of markings left. These are smaller than they used to be but that is the case with most things now. The quality has been reserved and that's the most important thing. I like that they bend under pressure but do not snap in half or chip off.

Ordered these for my art class. Students are currently using 2B pencils while learning about value. I tested out the erases by darkly shading a rectangle with a 2B pencil and easing through it. As you can see in the photo, the erases did not cleanly erase the dark pencil. However, when I lightly hatched the 2B pencil it was able to erase it completely. I can see that the erase shavings ball up on the paper making it easy to brush off.I would recommend this eraser for comic book artists that produce lots of light sketches as the pencil marks are usually made with little pressure. The paper that surrounds the eraser can sometimes slide off easily so that can be annoying and I don’t appreciate the plastic wrapping each individual eraser (seems wasteful).
