These are the gold standard of mechanical pencils. They have been nearly unchanged for as long as I have been using them. (Maybe 30 years). They are comfortable and hold a lot of lead. It is "quick" to press the button for more lead without missing a beat.Maybe the best part of this pencil is the eraser. It erases so much better than most other erasers. The eraser is replaceable.Some of mine (that I haven't lost) are more than 10 years old and still running smooth. They stand the test of time!

Best and easiest to use mechanical pencil ever invented. Been using these since I was in high school 50 years ago. Still nothing on the market better. These have a proper eraser also that works perfectly unlike others with either no eraser or some tiny little waste if an eraser that is covered with a cap you have to remove if you want to actually erase anything.

I buy a pair of these about every six months. It feels really good in my hand and writes well. The only problem is that the rubber part near the clicker wears out after a while. and the pencil become unusable.

My fave mechanical pencils for MANY years! They last forever with the lead and eraser refills available. I have gotten a few people hooked on them. Anytime anyone borrows these pencils they rave about them. Highly recommend the 7mm lead! Does not break easily for the heavy handed writers out there!

As a writer, drafter, and artist, the Pentel pencils are my choice. Their leads are good, as well. I've seen a lot of mechanical pencils in my day, and these are top of the line.

El plástico que rodea el botón para sacar la puntilla, se descompone. Puede ser que se haya degradado por el tiempo. El modelo no es muy actual y puede ser que el plástico haya perdido su integridad al llegar su tiempo de vida útil. A las dos piezas del paquete les pasó lo mismo y no se puede usar.

This is the only mechanical pencil I will buy and work my SODOKU puzzles or any other, with the least of interruptions. My "Perfect Puzzle Pencil" features the side Quicker Clicker, which advances the lead by applying pressure with my index finger, not like others that advance when pressing the eraser down, which happens every time you erase. I love the eraser end's style, shape and size, too!! I purchase the white Pentel Pencil Eraser Caps and gently scoot them onto the Pencil, giving me a precision corner for small spaces, preventing me from over-erasing spaces. The caps are clean, don't smudge and hold on securely. I love the clear body that allows me to see when it's time for a lead refill. The soft gripper area keeps my fingers comfortable and my index finger naturally rests on the clicker, ready when I need that lead advance.I have each of the lead size pencils. Each pencil works to my individial puzzle size working area. Large print = larger lead size. Small areas = small, fine lead size. I have to keep track of them, because once someone realizes how these feel and "flow", hang onto a quality Pencil cap eraser, have replacement erasers available and hold 25 lead pieces to last a trip, a month or a non-stop puzzle marathon.

I've been using Pentel Quicker Clickers for more than twenty-five years, and let me tell you, they're absolutely fantastic! The clicker being on the side allows you to advance the lead way faster than those traditional end-mounted buttons you find on other mechanical pencils. And let's not forget about the shape and feel of these pencils – they're super comfortable and provide a great grip that won't tire your hand. As long as I have to take notes and annotate plans and reports, you can bet I'll be sticking with my trusty Quicker Clicker. Sure, there are plenty of cheap mechanical pencils out there, but if you want the absolute best, you gotta go with Pentel. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I’ve used mechanical pencils every day at work and home for over 40 years and this one is the best. I’ve tried many different brands and styles. Works great even with non brand leads that I’ve bought on Amazon which snapped all the time with other pencils.
