I don't do macrame. I use this cord as the drawstring for drawstring backpacks I make for a charity. This use requires a braided cord as twisted cords unravel too easily. This cord is ideal as it is braided and being polypropylene means the drawstrings don't wear out too quickly.

I love this cord I used it weave a ladder back chair seat. I did not want to use reed as it is expensive.It also has to be wet. It worked great. I bought 2 but only used one, there was 100 yards in the roll. The cost was excellentthe hardware store wanted twice the cost for 100 feet of similar product.

I used this product to make a rug and found it super easy to work with and very durable. It made a crocheted rug approximately 30" in diameter.
