ADD DRIVE
These side-bites create just enough drive combined with the noticeable release to not get hung up. We tried many side-bite prototypes before coming up with this little guy. Our rounded tips create a noticeable drive and control without sacrificing the turning arc of the board.
RIDE FINLESS
Try them without a center fin for finless surfing without the learning curve. Great for 360's and surfing backward. If you can ride a wave face at a low intermediate level, you can ride these to expand your maneuvers.

UNIQUE TEMPLATE
Even though traditional Bonzers look cool, they don't quite work that well on a foamie. Perfect Storm Bonzer-Bites give drive with the forward area, and release from the rounded edges on the back.
CANT IS IN OUR VOCABULARY
The bold 8-degree cant we put into these Bonzer-Bites is a very important feature for this type of fin. This improves the hold the working rail has on the wave. Only one Bonzer fin is usually working when riding a wave face. When you turn right the right one works and the left one releases, and vice versa. Cant makes the working fin grab quicker, and releases the non-working fin just as fast to make the board feel less sticky and more lively.
ABOUT PERFECT STORM
In 2014 after another fun session on his Wavestorm, Venice Beach local Jason Schuster Googled “fins for Wavestorm”. To his surprise there were none. Jason, had an idea: How can he make the most fun board in the water even more fun? So In the backyard of his bungalow in Venice Beach, the Perfect Storm was born. Considering the aquadymanics of 8’ foamie, he hand-shaped a prototype. Designed for speed, directional control, and stability, built specifically for the soft-top. Jason’s vision for the Perfect Storm Single Fin became a reality. He made hand-made a limited quantity to sell to friends. The stoke spread and so did Perfect Storm Fins. Jason felt surfers should lose their egos at the water's edge and just enjoy the glide and feel of the wave when riding a soft-top. He enforced that by making them in only pink as a reminder.

Fins seem like good quality, but got two right fins in the package…I’m trying to contact them but no one has responded yet.

I am a fan. I pretty much exclusively ride the 8 foot soft top these days. The big single fin with the side bites is my go to. As advertised! More drive and holds on steeper bigger waves.

I really love these I chopped my old fins that came with the board to get something similar but I found these and am totally in love! Great for dabbling into riding finless and easy to push on the rail without spinning out unintentionally. I’m telling all the boys about these cuz I really love them.
