I have used this item on several different engines builds from mini bikes, go karts and even golf cards. The maneuverability of this item for your carb is a must. I've found it makes it easier to mount the carb in multiple places and if you use an extension or adapter you have even more options.Better yet, if you paint them with a high heat paint, the look of it makes the build even more unique. The paint durability is important but this product holds up and exceeds all my criteria.

Predator 212. Correct size received. Flange on motor side was welded on backwards. Both flanges required a lot of sanding to get them flat. Needed to use day of installation so had to cut the flange and reweld.Would be a great product if quality control and attention to detail applied.

I have a Mikuni VM24 Flatslide on a built Predator 212, and was previously using an angled rubber hose style intake. The intake would collapse with each pulse of the engine, and required an additional support for the carburetor as it couldn't support the weight on its own. This intake solves this problem.The intake fit well, and was easy to install. My only criticism would be that you still need a couple clamps and a small section of the rubber hose to attach the carburetor. I had these on hand, but it would be nice if they were included.Test runs with this intake showed a marked improvement in performance over the rubber hose intake. Top speed runs were more consistent, and the intake can easily support the weight of the carburetor without additional support.I chose not to paint the intake, but if it truly is stainless there shouldn't be an issue with rusting. This could also be polished up nicely, and I may do that the next time I have the carb off the bike.

Inside flange or tube was not deburred before or after welding, flakes of metal came right off the inside tube with minimal movement. Obviously not ideal to suck metal into an engine. For the money compared to the other options, I'd expect some basic finish work on the metal.

Worked great for what i needed but unfortunately i had to deck the surfaces so they were flat, not a huge deal if you don’t mind taking a few minutes to sand them down.

Great application to curve the carb out of harm's way. The gasket mating surfaces were curved and not flat like they should be. This is what you would expect from a cheap part, but this was not cheap. I took it to the belt/disc sander and got it close then spent another hour honing them exactly flat. One end needed 1/8" of material removed from the center of the flange to make it flat.

Great manifold for a performance upgrade, only a couple of issues. Because of the tight bend, mounting it can be a challenge, a regular bolt is not advisable, the head is to big to clear tube for tightening. You must use a allen socket head screw, then you need a very short 5 mm allen key to clear tight tube bend. I have one already but could not find it, so I cut down another 5 mm allen wrench, not a issue for me, but someone not as experienced might find it hard to use. Overall I give it 5 stars, very well made and worth the money.
