Used this pergear 256BG Express Type A card in a Sony A7 IV for 4K video footage.It was featured by alpha shooters under the title "Best Sony A7 IV Memory Cards With Speed & Buffer Tests" and decided to take the plunge.We did a continuous trail shot with this card and ran into no problems.The heat symbol came on after some -- dont know exact point -- time of continuous video but it never failed or stopped.Did not do any still frames at all.

Very affordable large capacity CFexpress Type A cards. Card built quality and functions are all great and works well with Sony A7RV. Will definitely buy the larger capacity cards later on.

Very impressed with the quality of these Cfexpress cards! They are extremely fast and work great for my line of work. I use them in my Sony A7SIII and A7IV with zero issues. Will definitely buy again from this brand.

Using this in my Sony A7R5. This matched set is an upgrade to my single UHS V90 card.The card is extremely fast and have no buffering issues with multiple shots or videosIt give me peace of mind in knowing that I won't run out of space for my upcoming vacation.

Necesitaba una tarjeta muy rápida y capaz de soportar elcodec de mi Sony fx30 4k XACV S-I DCI (all intra), todas las pruebas las superó sin problema alguno y al exportar fue todo genial, la recomiendo por su calidad y por su precio ya que es muy competitivo y se sabe que este tipo de tarjetas suelen ser caras, a parte te proporciona una garantía si hubiese algún fallo! 10/10!!

So far so good these have worked great they do what I need any frame rate and any bit depth necessary on Sony cameras A7siii, fx30, fx3, A1, etc. so nice to upgrade to a larger media space and not have any concern for filling it up too soon.

about half the price of a Sony 80gb card about 3 times the capacity, bought 2 packs (4 pieces), 2 pieces for my A7R5 and 2 for my A1, tested them and they work.... so why not......2024-02-24.... 8 game drives one long mountain drive and hundreds of pictures taken in the last month... not one problem

Diese Karte nutze ich in einer Sony A7 IV um hochauflösende Videos mit 500Mb/s aufnehmen zu können. Diese Karte löst die Aufgabe souverän und ohne Probleme. Und auch ein Hitzeproblem konnte ich nicht feststellen. Die Pergear ist also bestens geeignet für die Videoerstellung! Ich ziehe diese Karte den UHS 2 Varianten vor, weil 1. deutlich günstiger und 2. noch etwas schneller als eine V90 UHS 2.Auch bei Serienbildern in RAW+HEIF läuft der Puffer lange nicht voll. Aber irgendwann war es dann doch soweit. >100 Bilder sind drin! Es gibt CFExpress A Karten, bei denen der Puffer nie voll läuft. Diese Karten sind aber nochmal deutlich teurer. Für mich ist das kein Makel dieser Karte. Sie ist nicht die Schnellste aber schnell genug für den Anwendungszweck. Wer es schneller mag, gibt statt 0,57 EUR je GB dann eben 1,54 EUR je GB aus. P/L passt sehr gut. Daher kein Sterneabzug!Ich vergebe 5 Sterne, weil die Karte eine souveräne Leistung bei gleichzeitig noch vernünftigen Preisen bietet. Es geht natürlich auch noch schneller. Aber dann eben auch zu deutlich höheren Preisen. Das lohnt sich nur für eine spezielle Sparte in der Profifotografie. Wenn man lange Serienaufnahmen, zB im Profisport, machen muss. Ich habe in meinem Alltag niemals eine Situation erlebt, wo ich mehr als 100 Bilder in Serie hätte aufnehmen wollen.Im Test mit einem Mac und einem Lexar Cardreader konnten die "bis zu Angaben von 780 MB/s" kurzfristig tatsächlich erreicht und sogar übertroffen werden. Dauerhaft waren stabile 300MB/s drin. Die Dauerleistung entspricht also der Max Leistung einer UHS 2 V90 Karte. Und mir reicht diese Dauerleistung mehr als aus. Die Dauerleistung ist nicht zu verwechseln, mit den Max Angaben, die auf der Karte selbst stehen. Auf z.B. einer Sandisk Extreme Pro stehen 200MB/s drauf. Die Karte schafft auf Dauer aber nur einen Bruchteil davon. Und das ist, aus meiner Erfahrung, schon die schnellste UHS 1 SD Karte.

I was hesitant to purchase this card due to its recent release and lack of reviews, but I can confirm it does work in both Sony A7R V and A7 IV cameras. I'm unsure why people are claiming it doesn't work/fit, but these statements are not correct in my experience.

A couple weeks ago I purchased a Pergear 512GB CFExpress Type A card for my Sony A7RV. I was impressed that the card met the performance claims of up to 800MB/s for read and 700MB/s for write, just as fast as other (smaller) CFE-A cards I own, including "premium" brands. I have now added a 256GB Pergear card for the second slot. I can capture more than 5000 images with compressed lossless RAW on the larger card and JPG XFine on the second. For me, this is a good balance between not running out of space on my cards vs. having too much data on one set of cards if one of them fails. Bravo Pergear!

I needed a couple of extra cards for some extended travel but did not want to spend a lot for the higher priced type 1 cards. I bought the 2 pack and feel it’s a good value for price. The cards have performed well.
