I got these to use on the top of a small pergola for the backyard. It quickly simplifies the build and gives assurance to the strength of the corner. I like how they have even come with the screws to attach. Its not a complicated piece, just some square tubes welded together and then powered coated but that's all it needs to be. I am happy I got these, but they are expensive. At their current price I am not sure if I would get again. You can pick these up at the big box stores for about the same or cheaper.

I'm using these 3-way pergola brackets to aid me in building a pergola over one of my raised koi ponds. I'm a senior female DIY'er. I'm always on the lookout for tools and hardware to make building projects easier and safer. These beautiful black pergola brackets are enabling me to tackle what once was a daunting project...And that project is building a pergola by myself.These brackets are heavy-duty and well-made. I did not have any issues with my wood fitting into the brackets. My wood was mostly dry. I can see if green wet wood was used, that it might be a tight fit.The matte black finish of the brackets gives my pergola a classy look. The brackets came with all the necessary screws.

Will be using these to replace our dated porch roof posts. Very sturdy and compared to the other bases for our pergola from the big box store, these are just as thick and well made.

I ordered these so I can build a Pergola in my backyard. These 4X4 brackets are nice thick steel that should hold my 4X4s together without any worries. They make matching bases to go with the 3 way brackets. I will add pictures later on once I finish the project.

As stated; the metal is a thin gauge. Obviously not so thin that it will slice you or anything but it could certainly be much thicker. This is close to a 24 or 26 gauge by my eyes. The powder coating done is decent enough, I didn't see any chipping or cracking so I don't anticipate any failures. And from a structural standpoint the welds all seem to be done fine. Personally I use stronger screws (recommend HeadLoks or something similar); but the screws that come with it should suffice.I consider a 3 star review "Average" so that's why I gave it. These will get the job done but you can certainly find a better product if you search.

These brackets are solid with nice welds and a hardened black finish. They work well for constructing a pergola. Just slide your 4x4 into the bracket and fasten with screws. Plus it comes with all the screws you'll need.

I will be building a pergola this spring and these connectors are exactly what I need to complete my project. They are heavy and strong. They will be connecting the wood posts.
